Posting here for traffic, hoping somebody can shed a little light for me as I've never done this before! Apologies that it is long.

Bit of background info as to not drip feed:
23 y/o, currently living with parents which is unsustainable for various reasons, after fleeing an abusive relationship earlier this year (emotional and physical). I applied for council housing just before I left (wanted to move out and on my own) but it took a long time to get everything established and the situation escalated and I finally saw sense so I left as I couldn't wait for housing etc. (For context I had no income, was stopped from getting a job, put all my money into the relationship etc and was left with nothing).
I have MH issues (that now are thankfully under control and getting better for the first time ever due to leaving the relationship) and put all of this in detail on my housing application.

Have been bidding on properties etc. Just started a new job so starting to get my life back on track thank god (didn't work before due to MH issues etc). It's been a number of weeks since I bid on anything due to getting everything else in my life sorted. I received a phonecall today about a flat I bid on (it was a couple of months back if I remember correctly) saying I was top of the list, all the details of the flat and rent etc, and told to arrange a viewing of the property. I arranged all of this and phoned them back and asked what happens if I like the flat etc and she told me to send over copies of my passport and work contract (proof of ID and proof I am now working and have an income) which I have done.

She said she has booked me in for a viewing and sign up for the property (providing everything at the viewing goes well). Does this mean that when I go for my viewing next week, if I like the flat and it is suitable etc that I sign for it then and there and the flat is mine?

I'm so anxious but exicted and trying not to get my hopes up too much. I just want this so much as I can finally start to live my life again and gain some much needed independence after my life was put on hold for almost 3 years by my abusive ex.
