To take DS to A&E for this? (Gross toe pic)

Just looking for quick advice before morning .

Someone has suggested I phone the docs in the morning and see if they have a podiatrist who can see him. Failing that, take him to A&E.

I don't know what else to do with it, but seems a bit dramatic going to A&E. I can't bring myself to remove it and suspect I shouldn't try

My daughter had an infection in her fingernail and I thought the nail would come off.
We spoke to pharmacist in boots and they said out of hours. They gave an appointment so she didn't have to wait from Saturday until Monday for antibiotics.
The bail did come off, but soon grew back.

Can you go to the chemist and see what they suggest?

Depends on the damage done. My husband pulled his toenail off when on a water ride at a holiday place (a bit of paint wedged between his nail and basically pinged it off).

That was an A&E job because he'd damaged the nail matrix and pulled it clean out from the sinus on one side. They reattached/re-embedded it for him.

Still makes me want to puke just thinking about it!

@Tartsamazeballs that sounds pretty gruesome. Feet are not my friend, so this is no fun!
