Blokes, how did you spend your 40th’s?

Ideas welcomed on how the guys on here spent their 40th’s for inspiration for my husbands next year 🎂 (or even just how your male partners spent theirs!)

Same here Minnie....DH really wants to go snowboarding. He used to be a snowboarding instructor but hasn't been for years and years.

So it would be the perfect 40th for him next year if he wasn't a July birthday!

Some glaciers are open in July umpteen (Saas-Fee for example) but are generally red and black runs. This means DH can't get anyone to go with him.

You can def ski in zermatt in July. I think tignes as well?

We went with 4 other couples to a nice hotel for the weekend. We spent the Saturday doing abseiling down the side of the hotel (and hot damn the instructor was gorgeous!). On the Sunday morning the guys all played golf and the women all went to the spa and had treatments. Now I think some of the women would rather play golf but then, when we all had small children, the spa was a lovely, relaxing treat.

I took my DH to Bora Bora. I booked a snorkelling trip for the morning which he loved, I booked a lunch on a deserted island but we felt a bit self conscious for that. Dinner back at the resort hotel.

My husband went to Trieste, as it is on the 40th parallel!

Took mine to Paris for 5 days. He organised himself a party.
