To put liver into scouse?

am making a huge pan of scouse (its like irish stew) tomorrow for a bonfire party. I am using stewing steak for it. (its a stew with beef or lamb potatoes carrots and onion)

I am thinking of cutting up a piece of lambs liver very very very small and chuck it in it makes the most amazing gravy when I just make liver onions so am thinking my secret ingredient would make a nice addition to the scouse and wont be noticeable as big lumps of the stuff. Although I love liver so am baised......

EE no liver it wouldn't be scouse it would be louse! Glad you didn't go for it I'm from Liverpool and liver in scouse would be blasphemy!

This is worse than someone who suggested putting bloody wine in it, or garlic and all this fancy shite.
It’s scouse, it’s not supposed to have fancy stuff in it. I make mine blind with abar 6 ingredients an it’s eyeshuttin.

Love Scouse (my old housemates used to cook it) I also really like liver, but it has to be gently cooked almost lightly poached in gravy or very briefly pan fried so it's sightly pink inside, chuck liver in Scouse and it'll be tough as old boots
