To not want to take my Coat off if it is cold.

I am always feeling the cold especially in these winter months. Last winter was dreadful.

When I am at home I always have the heating turned on.

When I go to friends or relatives or even at work I always find it very chilly. If I leave my coat on if it is a bit chilly I always worry others think I am rude. I wouldnt want others to turn the heating on just for me though get relieved in a way when they do.

I worry as well that something may be wrong with me as I am cold at the best of times when others arent.

Anyone else feel like this?

Yes I know I really need to invest in a pair of new slippers asap.

I am so used to keeping my Boots or Shoes on when I am in my own flat.

Have you heard of Raynards syndrome? Not sure if I've spelt that right but that's a condition where you really feel the cold... sure there's a lot more to it than that but maybe you have that?xx

Not something I am familiar with though maybe something I should google.

Know I should really get checked out with GP soon as I hate feeling this way, guess I am worried in a way incase they find anything.

Tonight is another cold one for me.

"I am so used to keeping my Boots or Shoes on when I am in my own flat."

I can't wait to get my boots/shoes off when I get home. I find slippers far more comfortable in the house. Not that I wear uncomfortable footwear anyway.

Bunchofdaffodils · 02/11/2018 23:40

What do you wear in bed? (Feels a bit odd asking that, sorry!)
I need long pjs tucked into socks, dressing gown, duvet and usually fleecy blanket too. No heating on at night though.

cherylt1990 · 03/11/2018 00:36

Hah no need to be sorry for asking lol

Pjs, dressing gown and definetly socks as well at the minute.
My feet always get cold.

Who knew, keeping my coat on is rude?
Oh well, id rather be rude than shivering and feeling like i want to vomit. Layers to me are uncomfortable and restrictive, a coat, i still have good movement.
I feel the cold, dont retain body heat. If it my thyroid its been that way since i was a kid, i just not a winter person.
Who cares what others think op, if your cold, your cold, why make yourself uncomfortable to please others over such a trivial thing as keeping a coat on

Sheepskin slipper boots are fab and should keep your feet toastie.

Bunchofdaffodils · 03/11/2018 10:04

Sheepskin slipper boots, you say...? For inside or out?

Vampiratequeen · 03/11/2018 10:35

Have you had your iron levels checked? Being cold can be a symptom if anaemia. I know someone who is and they are always cold.

cherylt1990 · 03/11/2018 10:50

When I last had my iron levels checked I was told they were completly normal.

Yes I know I shouldnt be caring too much about what others may think,
so tend to just go wearing what I need to regardless.

@Bunchofdaffodils inside. Mine are from Just Sheepskin and are so cosy. Essentially UGGS without the hard sole.

cherylt1990 · 03/11/2018 17:59

Definetly sounds like I need to get myself a pair of those, sound so cosy.
