To eat all the Parma Violets before the trick or treaters come by?

Anyone else got a soft spot for certain sweets?

I’m halfway through the free bucket from Iceland.

I'm further than half way through. Thank you iceland. And all the Parma violets are already gone along with the fizzers and double lollies 😳
DH says they all taste like chalk but they're my favourite.

YABU to remind me of the existence of Parma Violets and remind me that I didn't buy any. I only got bloody boring Haribos

I got a couple of mixed bags from the co op none free

I was thinking of opening the door and saying trick, closing it quickly and eating all the Swizzels sweets myself so quite reasonable to me, generous even.

YANBU. I'd do the same if I had any. I'm looking forward to finishing the chocolate eyeballs in front of the telly later

I love Parma Violets! I have learnt to only buy sweets I dont care for at Hallowe’en. Saves money and last minute runs to the shop.

No one likes them anyway so fill your boots.

YANBU you are saving those poor children from the soap/old knickers/air freshener vileness that are parma violets.

You are also saving your windows from being egged by children enraged at what you have inflicted upon them.

I’ve picked out all the cola flavour maoam stripes, to save for later (like nay normal person would)

I love parma violets and have just sent DH out to buy some Swizzels. DS is now suggesting we put the pumpkin out with a note saying trick's on you, we've eaten all the sweets.

I bought a box of violet creams the other week and i can't remember if I bought them in Aldi or B &M but they were delicious

Love Parma violets too. Got a Parma violet candle in a tin thing and Parma violet gin...I loves it

I've just eaten 3 refreshers sweets instead of having dinner! (but I feel slightly sick!)

Went through my DD's haul with her this morning- two lovely people gave her Parma violets. Which I now have my eye on ....
