I'm nearly out of the first trimester with baby #2 and have been quite bad this time around. That, coupled with us all having various colds/bugs/viruses have meant we've been eating a lot of rubbish recently. I'm starting to feel better so can face cooking and being around food again, but I've also lost a lot inspiration for meals, etc. I used to make about 80% of our food before.

So for a bit of inspiration, AIBU to ask what your toddler is having for lunch today?

#3 is one but almost a toddler I guess. Spanish omelette and salad with sun-dried tomatoes. Probably fruit and yogurt after.

We have a Picnic Plate most days - Today's is a Ham Sandwich, a Satsuma, Box of Raisins and a small Banana with a bottle of Water.

ChesterBelloc · 30/10/2018 12:44

Peanut butter on seedy brown toast. She's had a biscuit, a petit-filous and some orange this morning as snacks.

Most days it's either this, or spinach and ricotta tortellini from Lidl, with butter&olive oil.

TinyTickler · 30/10/2018 12:48

he's got a packed lunch at nursery with a cheese wrap, a pot of cucumber and tomato, some raspberries, a yoghurt and a pack of mini crackers if he wants something else - but this is rarely eaten!

Lunches at home are usually;

tortilla pizza
omelette with bread and butter
beans or spaghetti hoops or pasta shapes with toast
sandwiches - ham or cheese (he is fussy)
If he wants something bigger then a 'meal' like sausages potatoes and peas or spinach and ricotta tortellini.

usually all served with chopped up tomatos and cucumber and followed by a yoghurt. he's a creature of habit lol

Oneinthegrave · 30/10/2018 13:13

Ham and salad wrap (deconstructed because he doesnt eat it otherwise) with a little yoghurt

Squashedfrogsandbatsblood · 30/10/2018 13:14

One solitary waffle cut into squares (NOT TRIANGLES MUMMY!!)on a light blue plate and an orange cup of milk. The colour is very important Hmm

Jealous of people with toddlers who eat healthy meals!
