She thinks there ought to be a bit more restriction on fireworks. Like weekends only until after New year, so she knows when to bloody hide. She wishes she lived back in Ireland where she's from. She also isn't a killjoy and loves the pretty colours, but hates it when it's on a random Thursday apropos of nothing except they're on sale so why not.

I've a kneader/ chewer. Blankets aren't safe.

We have one of those. I believe (but correct me blah blah) that what they're thinking of is kneading mummy's cat body to promote the milk let-down mechanism-wotsit. That fits in with the gumming of fuzzy blanket; I often accidentally put my hand on a slobbered bit which is a bit bleugh.

Our cat not afraid of fireworks but very disdainful and prefers to saunter back in if there are any.

Our cat anomaly: she can't purr! Just makes a pathetic whiffling noise in her nose. Sad Your cat is NBU.

Well jillo I'm with you. My dc are far worse than fireworks. And it's the pre-kid cat thats the frightenedest. She's 11.

noodles that's my theory also. Poorly weaned. Evilcat used to suck her own tail. All my cats these days are moggies. That said, pedigrees have their own particular hangups - as said upthread, Burmese think they're scarves. Grin
