I'm for me around 6:30am (work or uni).
Trying to keep this routine at weekend. Doesn't always work haha.

7:45 to 8 during the week for the school run.

8 to 8:30 at the weekend depending on DD2. DD1 will sleep til 10am if allowed, so would I

Would love to be an early wake up morning person.

Didsomeonesaybunny · 25/10/2018 21:07

I used to get up at 6.30 when I was working but now that I’m on maternity leave if the baby goes back to sleep after her morning feed around 5.30 we will sleep in until around 8.30/9, it’s bliss!

tor8181 · 25/10/2018 22:40

we live a reverse life to everyone else, have done for a few years now

majority of people get up when we go off

i have a 14 and 8 y old that have many complex disabilities each so sleeping is all to pot

the oldest dont sleep at all(goes 2-3 days straight then crashes) but still needs 24 hour care and the youngest dont go to sleep till 5-6am(or later)he needs 24 hour care also, even more at night due to anxiety

we get up at 2-3pm most days(sometimes later)
so 1 adults spends the day sleeping, the other one up and vice versa the next day

so every 48 hours the adult has 9-10 hours sleep

no medication works so we have got to do what ever needs doing

we also home educate so we can spend our days sleeping

Amanduh · 25/10/2018 22:42

Whenever the one year wakes me up! Anytime between 6-8. Although usually awake naturally about 7

Amanduh · 25/10/2018 22:42

*one year old...

arethereanyleftatall · 25/10/2018 22:42

8am

Coldilox · 25/10/2018 22:46

5:30 if I’m on an early shift. Otherwise around 6 when 4 year old decides it’s time to get up. If I’m on a late shift I’ll go back to bed for an hour after he’s been packed off to nursery. If I’m off at the weekend DW and I will take turns to lie in til 8.

I miss sleep.

Littlelambpeep · 25/10/2018 22:54

I have a 3 and 4 year old who sleep until 8am so I wake at 7.45 and we all leave the house at 8.30am

Idontwanttogo · 25/10/2018 22:56

3.30am for work

speakout · 26/10/2018 06:17

Morning everyone!

Just up, now back lying in bed with a coffee. I'll get ready soon and leave the house at 6.50.
I have a yoga class at 7.15, then a trip to ALDI for some food shopping, back home then go to pick up DD from her University accommodation at 10.30.

Hope everyone has a good morning.

Chosenbyyou · 26/10/2018 06:33

I’m so Jel if people who get to sleep in! My 1yo gets up between 5-6 everyday - today 5.45. Ironically my 3yo sleeps til 8 or sometimes later.

Tor81 - hope you are ok, it sounds tough on you.

Noboozeforme · 26/10/2018 06:41

Waking up and getting up are two very different things.

I'm awake anywhere between 4am and 8am. Work days I'm up at 7am and on weekends I don't have to get up at all and sometimes stay on bed for the entire weekend!

MaryShelley1818 · 26/10/2018 06:42

I’m just about to go back to sleep after Maternity Leave. Will be 6.30am on work/nursery days, and hopefully a bit later on non-work days and weekends.
Baby can currently sleep anywhere from 7-8.30ish but today was 5.50!

MaryShelley1818 · 26/10/2018 06:43

I obviously mean back to work not back to sleep! 😆

thatmustbenigelwiththebrie · 26/10/2018 06:44

5am for work, about 730 at weekends

ItsClemFandangoCanYouHearMe · 26/10/2018 06:46

Between 5 and half 5 on a weekday. I like to try and get ready before the kids and start work at 9.

On the weekend, 7 at the latest as the kids get me up!

These 9-10 lay ins sound like the middle on the day to me

YesitsJacqueline · 26/10/2018 06:47

Ds got up at 5 am for years ! Now he's 4 he sleeps til 7 or later , sounds great but i always wake up before him as i am in the habit now !
I have very productive mornings though .

Eliza9917 · 26/10/2018 06:48

8.00-8.15 if no gym, have to be at work for 9.00. 6.45 if going. Might get up at 7.00 today and do some cleaning as I'm awake and then we won't have to do it later or tomorrow.

Howtodeal · 26/10/2018 06:49

6am in the week for work, but then the dog is up same time at the weekends so no change really. 7am is a really exciting lie in in this house!

SheilaHammond · 26/10/2018 07:01

7am on weekdays for work. Leave the house at 8 for an 8.20 start at work.

Weekends I wake up about 7 for a wee and pet-feeding. Then take a cup of tea back to bed for another hour of dozing.

My Dc are older though, it wasn’t always like this. I’ve done watching Thomas the tank engine DVDs at 5am and dozing on the sofa whilst a toddler guzzles milk and toast.

onestitchaway · 26/10/2018 07:08

Between 6 and 6.30 am on a week day (alarm).

Weekends the same if we need to be up and out. Or naturally between 7 - 7.30am if no alarm. Will then stay in bed for around an hour with a cup of tea.

GeoEm · 26/10/2018 20:57

@CarryOnScreamingValenta So we do! Totally forgot about the clocks. Thanks for reminding me. 🙂

5am on a work day, between 6:30 and 7 on the weekends.

I'm a very morning person, I love a good, long morning! I'm rubbish at evenings, though...

TheMobileSiteMadeMeSignup · 26/10/2018 21:23

Mondays and Fridays my alarm is 7:45 to get DD up for school.
Tues-Thurs it's 6:30/45 for work.
Saturday 8:30 for DD's ice-skating at 10:45 which is a 45 minute drive away.
Sundays there is no alarm unless we have something planned. DD might wake us up around 8:30/9 unless she decides she would rather lie and read until she is hungry enough to start asking for breakfast..

The day she is big enough to get the milk out the fridge is the day we start sleeping til whenever we want on a Sunday cos she will be able to get her own cereal!

SherlockHolmes · 26/10/2018 21:24

If I'm working, I get up at 7 to make a cup of tea, get DS off to school, then back to bed until 8.15.

If I'm not working, ditto 7 then back to bed til about 9.

I love my bed.
