And I live just down the road so I know this area very well.

Adun · 21/10/2018 22:49

Really, the property is on richmer road

Willowsauntie · 21/10/2018 22:55

Good investment as long as you don't need to use the local schools.

Adun · 21/10/2018 23:14

Thank u guys but still confused. My daughter is the to start nursery next September 🙁🙁 and was looking at st paul primary sch. Need more slight about dis area pls pls pls

Willowsauntie · 21/10/2018 23:22

Do it. Bexley Borough has more grammar schools than anywhere else I can think of.
Property is a wise investment.

Slade Green has a bad reputation but every area has it's good and bad areas. We've been here for nine years - now with two children - and it's fine. It has good links to both London and the coast - both by road and train - close to loads of bigger towns and shopping centres like Bluewater and Lakeside, and with the community centre and local community groups there's loads to do within Slade Green itself. With regards to schools, I would look around St. Paul's before deciding as I wasn't keen on it, but you should have no problems getting into Haberdashers' Aske's, Peareswood, and Normandy - all of which are good schools - and, as somebody above mentioned - there are loads of grammar schools in Bexley and most primaries sit the 11+ as standard.
