Do people think that models walk in off the street and step in front of the camera? Confused

SaucyJack · 21/10/2018 10:27

“I wonder how knackered and bedraggled his wife must look?”

Not at all! This is her latest pap shot . She is a Goddess on earth tho.

I've been there Daniel!! It gets slightly better in about 15 months or so (but not much tbh)

kalinkafoxtrot45 · 21/10/2018 10:33

Ach poor love! He looks knackered. Well, we all have our off days.

LavendarGreen · 21/10/2018 10:56

He does look knackered and rough, but I have to say, I have never thought he is attractive or appealing, he has always looked ten years older than his age, and I have never liked him as James Bond. I will be glad when someone else preferably James Norton takes over.

LavendarGreen · 21/10/2018 10:57

He literally looks 65 on that pic.

FekkoTheLawyer · 21/10/2018 10:57

I had hallucinations in the tiny baby days.

HamiltonCork · 21/10/2018 10:59

I still look like that and my youngest is 13yrs 😂

akitas2 · 21/10/2018 11:00

When he is “scrubbed up” all I can see is Norman Wisdom!

FekkoTheLawyer · 21/10/2018 11:03

I thought he looked a bit like that actiony actor Jeremy whatzit.

Momo27 · 21/10/2018 11:10

Akitas - yes! I can’t unsee that now

ShowOfHands · 21/10/2018 11:17

DH and I always point out men pushing prams one handed. Not tall, long-legged men with wide shoulders. All sorts of men, in an affected, this is also how I drive a car type way. DH's friend did it and we asked him why and he said he'd seen other men doing it and didn't want to look like he needed to use two hands. I rolled my eyes so hard I might never recover.

EvePolastriSorryBaby · 21/10/2018 11:35

Imagine if someone had posted a similar pic of a new mum and laughed at her appearance....you lot would be up in arms!

LizzieBennettDarcy · 21/10/2018 11:37

That photo just makes me adore him even more Grin

SeaEagleFeather · 21/10/2018 11:39

it's sympathetic laughter! Lots of people laughed at me. You can always tell someone who's been through it because it's a kind laugh

Haahhpy · 22/10/2018 01:11

Just good to see a new father looking as exhausted as new mothers feel. Not normally a fan of his but this makes me warm to him a bit actually as to me it looks like he's probably actually living the reality of caring for a small baby which sadly lots of men don't!

Dontfeellikeaskeleton · 22/10/2018 01:16

Yeah man there's a reason we're supposed to have kids young in life... Fuck me the poor fella looks rough

Dontfeellikeaskeleton · 22/10/2018 01:17

Yes, eve, we would be 🙄

flapjackfairy · 22/10/2018 01:18

I wouldn't have even recognised him !

gluteustothemaximus · 22/10/2018 01:18

Not laughing at him at all. Just laughing in a way that says ‘I know how that feels!’ It’s a shared sympathy of knowing how hard a newborn is and how fucked you look with no sleep Grin

Graphista · 22/10/2018 01:36

I actually love that we now see celebs less than perfectly polished.

So we normal people can relate, and even for some it can help them know "X has this issue too and they're incredibly famous and successful"

Cameron Diaz has crap skin I believe as a result of acne issues, renee zellweger has rosacea, various celebs have scars - I particularly admire Amanda redman has burn scars on her arm which she doesn't go out of her way to hide.

As someone who's mentally ill I also like when celebs are open about this. I don't expect it of them as that's a deeply personal decision but I am grateful when they are. Particularly fellow sufferers of OCD

Cameron Diaz again, Jennifer love Hewitt, David beckham, Ian puleston-Davies (Owen Corrie).

It's good to know we're not alone in our faults

LivLemler · 22/10/2018 05:22

I love it. He's clearly actually involved in looking after the baby. How often on here do we read about men whose lives haven't changed at all when s baby is born, while the mother does everything. And that's without the resources to hire a fleet of nannies.

I don't usually like praising men for doing what they should just because others are crap. But... Seeing James Bond as the involved, wrecked parent of a new baby? Awesome.
