Turning up on complete strangers doorsteps, expecting free sweets, giving nothing in return.

The ultimate in MN CheekyFuckery if you ask me.

Aww I Love Halloween! I thinks it's nice to show DC that there's still a-bit of 'kindness' in all of us, but I can't stand when people give out home made stuff💩 we don't spend a lot Aldi's sweets do the same job to get a smile....

Poloshot · 19/10/2018 19:33

Absolutely agree OP

I can never understand, even after the bajillion threads about it how me standing there with a bowl of sweets/chocolate and offering the trick or treaters some constitutes them begging. Confused

dArtagnansCrumpet · 19/10/2018 19:38

I think the OP was joking? I love Halloween and going trick or treating let the cheekiness commence!

AmIthatbloodycold · 19/10/2018 19:44

We do guising. The kids might say "trick or treat" but they all sing, tell a joke or recite a poem without having to be asked

Giving nothing in return

I'll have you know I give blood sweat and tears trying to wrangle my twins into their costumes and convince them to say please whilst smiling nicely at the stranger we beg sweets off - it's a performance in itself.
