Roll on deodorants, they take longer to dry now?

I prefer to use them in the probably deluded idea that they might have slightly less environmental impact but if I'm tempted to put the hairdryer on to speed up drying surely that undermines/negates it?

it's because they don't put alkohol in them anymore.
I brush teeth, potter about after aplying to let it dry. sometimes use hairdryer to speed it up.

much prefer roll on - once dry it's not sticky.
sticks remain sticky and transfer onto clothes
spray makes me wheeze

I use a roll on that you just have to use once a week (can't remember the name right now). You put it on at night time and it stops you sweating all week. It's brilliant. Day to day I just wear perfume.

What kind of weird roll ons are you all using?? Confused

I use the Sure ones and they dry in about 10 seconds.

PinkAvocado · 18/10/2018 09:51

Kaytee87 doesn’t it wash off in the shower though? Intrigued!

Jakethekid · 18/10/2018 10:10

I used to hate this when I was younger. I now use the 48 hour (or is it 24 hour?) Cream sure stick thing. I put it on at night before I go to bed. I do not reply apply in the morning.

I used to sweat a lot. I still get very sweaty palms. This is the only thing that works for me. No wet arm pits, not white marks on day clothes and feeling dry.

Jakethekid · 18/10/2018 10:11

Sure maximum protection.

PinkAvocado I believe the 'deodorant' Kaytee87 is referring to is probably Driclor (or similar). It's aluminum chloride and actually blocks the sweat glands (not sure how it's different to antiperspirant or doesn't wash off, but it works really well. It can just get a bit stingy / itchy ime.

I can't say I've noticed 'wetness' either. Pop it on after shower, then dressing down on while doing hair / make up then clothes. Sticks are horrible and just transfer onto your clothes and pull the shit out of your skin. Sprays are shit for the environment and your skin.

they don't have alcohol in them any more so they take ages, so i switched to a stick
I found the only ones that still had alcohol in where the cheapo non-brand ones, boots own, tescos value etc
