To use a hair dye....

To use a hair dye if the patch test was itchy for the first 20 minutes I applied it to my skin and then nothing else for 24 hours?

Is this too risky? I have a wedding tomorrow and have roots from hell.

It's Jerome Russell maximum blonding kit.

And if I am being unreasonable- any suggestions as an alternative?!

That isn’t strong stuff and I wouldn’t risk it. If you itched over a tiny patch can you imagine when it’s all over your head? You could end up in hospital.

I had already decided not to as I know it's silly to risk it Sad good job roots are in lol

Isn’t it a bit itchy because it’s a wet sticky patch on your skin? And if it’s fine after 20 mins when it’s dried and you don’t get a rash or anything other symptoms, I think you would be safe to continue.

Thanks Thanks

my hair snapped at the root using that kit - and i washed it off after 5 minutes! not worth it

willowbranch · 11/10/2018 16:28

Well I thought that because there were no problems after it drying it would be fine but the girls at work said no, but it was just 20 minutes when it first went on, but it was an intense itch. But then it disappeared

Even their toners need a patch test so I don't have time to use that now...Sad
