I've had a lovely day, we've spent the day at with family for a birthday and had a nice Chinese out and now we're all in our pjs in bed watching Netflix (Big Bang Theory) and relaxing. It's nice to have a nice Sunday.

*What have you all done?
*
Have a nice evening x

Went for a bike ride with some friends that finished at the pub for a few hours.

Now in bed as not feeling very well. Really hope it goes away soon

Nononononono33 · 07/10/2018 19:18

A really nice day. Got up early (even after last night’s gin night) and went out mountain biking, followed by a giant slice of caramel flapjack at the cafe. Came home and put all the furniture back in my office after painting it yesterday, and it looks good. Sorted washing out and put clean sheets on beds so it’s all nice for later. Nap, then sorted out plans to see friends next weekend and started my Christmas planning spreadsheet. Have just made lasagne and it is in oven. Will have with salad and yummy garlic bread and there is some choc cheesecake left for dessert. Going for a run tomorrow so can justify double cake Sunday!

Non relaxing! Holiday unpacking/washing/ ironing all done. DD2 has HF&M so is a bit irritable and DD1 has the type of homework that had to be basically done by me. I also had the headache from hell all day and DH has been completely useless Angry.

Going to put DCs to bed shortly and have a nice bath and read my book with a brew in bed (hopefully).

thismeansnothing · 07/10/2018 19:21

Had a lie in (got up at 9am)

Watched the F1, then last night's strictly with DD

Helped DH with some DIY we've been putting off (hang a coat rack, hang a picture frame)

Went out all three of us and walked the dog for an hour.

Watched a bit of telly while DH made steak, chips and salad for tea.

Now it's the back to school routine. DH ironing while I do spellings, reading and shower DD

Crunchymum · 07/10/2018 19:25

I've spent the day cleaning vomit. 5yo has a bug. Which I'm destined to get as I'm immunosuppressed Hmm

Goinggertrude · 07/10/2018 19:26

Had an early start for DS2's football match and picked up a hungover DS1 from his friends on the way, (which I was Angry at as he's only 16) dropped DS2 and DD at their dads. Came home, bollocked and sent DS1 to bed, had a bath, watched Netflix and just had tea and now relaxing with a beer because I'm a hypocrite (my first alcoholic drink this weekend to be fair). Mixed day really. Feel less low in mood than I have for a while though so feeling positive.

WhatWouldLeslieKnopeDo · 07/10/2018 19:26

I spent time with my favourite aunt and uncle.

Then I walked a whole lap of the park without a major coughing fit, and only needed to sit down once.

Now I'm snuggled up in my armchair knitting. Though my Nutella ice cream is calling to me so I might have to venture out from under my blanket.

So all in all, an excellent Sunday :)

Sorry for those who have not had a good day Flowers

MawkishTwaddle · 07/10/2018 19:30

I don't know what's come over me, but I've spent the whole day cooking!

I've made two banana breads, an apple pie, homemade tomato soup and a full roast dinner.

I just felt the urge, and went with it. The family aren't complaining Smile

RangeRider · 07/10/2018 19:36

Splendid day - lovely church service, read a good book on the sofa with DDog for cuddles, stuffed my face full of gorgeous cake, and now my football team are winning. The perfect Sunday!

Sidalee7 · 07/10/2018 21:56

Went for a run while DC's were at football, grocery shopping, chilled out this afternoon(feel ill) and had a snooze.
Made a roast, now in bed with book and peppermint tea.

JaceLancs · 07/10/2018 22:00

Arrived home from holiday at 3am
Went out shopping and for coffee
Unpacked
Did food shop
Started first of numerous loads of washing
Went out for pizza
Early night here

MrJollyLivesNextDoor · 07/10/2018 22:01

Not brilliant
Struggling with break up from OH in the week, feel like I'm wading through treacle just getting through the day
Trying not to cry in front of DS
Afternoon at friends which was nice

Athena51 · 07/10/2018 22:05

Nice quiet and restful apart from being woken up at 3am by my drunk neighbour and her loud mouthed male friend coming home. I was not amused. Mind you, I had lots of vacuuming and washing to do this morning Grin

Otherwise, just cooking, cuddling the cat, watching telly and hanging out on MN.

frankie001 · 07/10/2018 22:08

Not a good day here. Am babysitting best friends kids following a very unexpected bereavement. Am so sad for them all.

Powerless · 07/10/2018 22:10

Horrible. Split up with boyfriend and I'm pretty devastated 😢

MrJollyLivesNextDoor · 07/10/2018 22:12

Powerless

I feel your pain
Hang in there

BlaaBlaaBlaa · 07/10/2018 22:13

Had the usual Sunday get together with friends. It was my friends turn to host. We had lovely wine, nice food, lots of laughing and singing while the kids played together without threatening violence. Great day all round.

ILovePierceBrosnan · 07/10/2018 22:16

Festive, MrJolly and Crunchy Flowers
Hope things improve before next Sunday.

I’ve had a lie in, breakfast in bed, a 3 hour hilly walk in the sun, roast dinner at the nearest pub at the end (in the pub garden as it was so warm) and enjoyed amazing views, company and then home to chill on the sofa. I also changed the bed so clean sheets await. Perfect.

greeneyedlulu · 07/10/2018 22:17

Good, got my nails done and out for dinner. Back home to watch a film with the family then bathed and got ds to bed now watching killing eve with a g and t

ILovePierceBrosnan · 07/10/2018 22:17

Powerless Flowers for you too

Powerless · 07/10/2018 23:23

@ILovePierceBrosnan Thankyou. Sat here crying my eyes out and he won't even speak to me.

I really am beginning to despise men.

mumof2sarah · 08/10/2018 07:43
