What are your Friday night plans?

I had every intention to get loads done, instead I've been in my jammies and in bed for a while just browsing the phone and relaxing. DD2 is in bed watching a film (she asked for that to be her Friday night treat) and DD1 is at her dads. DP is working so I'm enjoying the fast the house is in complete silence.

*What are you all up to?

Have a good one whatever it may be x

@OldShuck that sounds so nice but for some reason bread and cheese aren't agreeing with me anymore, makes me so sad. Enjoy your lovely supper and wine xx

@Chosenbyyou it's awful when it feels like that. I hope you manage a good sleep. Also huge respect to your husband, Hospital staff don't get the credit they deserve very often. Sending extra love to your family tonight x

@Harleypuppy get better soon x

@SavageBeauty73 I've still never watched that, think I'm going to add it to my to watch list. Enjoy xx

@Whatififall Aside from the soaps and the Turkish delight that sounds like perfection. I'd probably swap the soaps for a cheesy chick flick movie and the Turkish delight for a twirl lol. Have a wonderful evening xx

@Celebelly No contemplation there, get that kettle on enjoy xx

@BitchQueen90 Shortbread is my favourite biscuit, very jealous... enjoy xx

@WonderTweek I don't know how to play chess but to me that sounds like a perfect plan. Enjoy every minute of it xx

In my pj's with a mug of chai latte, candles lit and walking Britain's Lost Railways. Peaceful evening with the luxury of a rare Saturday off!

Pursefirst · 05/10/2018 21:02

Counting down the minutes until I can leave work and retire to a cocktail bar, where I will eat fried chicken and drown my work-related sorrows with my friend. It's been one of those decadesweeks

PlayingForKittens · 05/10/2018 21:03

Dh went to drop Biggest Boy and friends at scout camp and came home with curry. My belly is now very full. The Girl is reading in her room, Small Boy was asleep but had a night terror so was cuddling with me on the sofa intermittently screaming and hiding under a blanket until it passed and he burst out laughing at a joke on TV. Now dh is watching rugby so I'm on MN with my feet in his lap.

mumof2sarah · 05/10/2018 21:03

@GrumpyOldMare that sounds lovely, and bonus on the Saturday off. I've not watched that show but I've heard quite a few people talk about it so I might have a bit of a catch up of it soon. Enjoy the rest of your evening and your day off tomorrow xx

@Pursefirst I'm willing that time to pass fast for you. Enjoy your fried chicken and cocktails xx

@PlayingForKittens that last bit is my favourite. I often sit with my feet on DHs lap well he's busy on a game or watching something, I have a good book and it feels so contented. Enjoy the peace.. sending love to your son, night terrors are the worst xx

Nononononono33 · 05/10/2018 21:07

Oof I’d love some shortbread about now! Have a glass of wine and waiting for DH to stop faffing about so we can watch Have I Got News For You. Watching an episode of Medium whilst I’m waiting.

Wheelerdeeler · 05/10/2018 21:07

Dh gone for a drink with my brother. Small boy asleep. Bigger boy and me in my bed on devices. Couldn't stay up. Been a long week

Lynne1Cat · 05/10/2018 21:09

I've been in my jamas since 7.70. Been catching up on emails, replying to texts, and generally faffing about. Got a busy social weekend planned. Steampunk event tomorrow, then evening at the pub. Going with the GC to a fair on Sunday, lunch out somewhere.

Lynne1Cat · 05/10/2018 21:09

7.70?! I meant 7.30

VictoriaBun · 05/10/2018 21:10

Just eaten a selection of lovely cheeses we got last week when we passed by Settle ( North Yorkshire ) There is a lovely cheese shop / cafe there and we have been munching out way through them this last week.
Have also just taken the Christmas cake I made today out of the oven . The house smells all christmassy .

LoisSanger · 05/10/2018 21:11

I’m in bed watching Greys Anatomy, 23 weeks pregnant & shattered.

Both toddlers are in bed & we’ve got a day at a Space Day out tomorrow so I should sleep soon.

Jealous of the done Christmas cake, I need to get on with ours.

sleep5 · 05/10/2018 21:24

OP posts:
mumof2sarah · 05/10/2018 21:26

Just got in from an impromptu pub visit with dh's colleagues, last warm evening. Now time for bed, just hope dd doesn't wake us again when she comes in at 3am , having a kid stay home for university has its advantages (a lot cheaper for us and a live in dog sitter) but not enjoyed freshers shenanigans, she needs to learn to creep in!!!
