Bullying in school

Does anyone have any advice on how to deal with bullying in P2. My dd5 has been getting hit and kick every day since the start of P2. Yesterday she was bitten by the girl and has a massive bruise on her arm. I have kept her off school today as she is so upset and has been up crying through the night.
So far I have been in for meetings with the class teacher, deputy head and the head teacher but nothing seems to be improving. I then went to the local authority and complained about it but they said they were happy that the school were dealing with it and that the school has a risk assessment plan in place that they are following. I am unsure of where to go next as we are in Scotland and don’t have a board of govenors.
AIBU in wanting the school to keep my daughter safe and how can I get them to do that.

Oh no Poor DD. What is the school's anti bullying policy? What is their current plan for dealing with it? Is this just directed at DD or is there a particular child who is violent in general. If it's not being dealt with I would just keep pushing and pushing. I'd be in the school every day.

Take photos of the injuries and log them with the school each time.

What does the schools antibullying policy say?

I'd ask to go back in and speak to them. When you're in there and they've made assurances to resolve it, make an appointment for when you will review how far those assurances have been met

Have taken photos every time my dd has been injured. This is the second time that I have also seeked medical advice the first time was when the child stabbed her with a pencil and now with the bite. The schools policy said they zero tolerance to violence but this isn’t been enforced. Me and dh have made an appointment to go in and speak to the head again tomorrow as has another parent whose child was attacked this morning in the playground.
Honestly don’t know what to do I have photos of 17 different injuries that this child has inflicted on mine and they have only been in school since 16th August.

Thanks FrancisCrawford I will do that today. My dd won’t be returning to the school until I can be guaranteed of her safety at the school. I have emails as after every incident I have emailed the school with pictures of dds bruising etc.

I’d ask to see the risk assessment plan too, as well as their anti-bullying policy. With 17 injuries, it doesn’t seem the plan is very effective! It’s really not acceptable what your daughter is going through.

Thanks everyone emailed the school today and asked for a copy of the risk assessment and asking that they have an answer for tomorrow’s meeting on how they plan to keep my dd safe. I made it clear in the email that she will not be returning to the school until I can be certain that she will be safe.

Our bullying policies around here (not uk) are exclusion and the bully is made an example of. I can tell you its very effective.
