That 9pm was far too late

A guy came round doing a ‘radio survey’. I was sat on the fronts with my kids and watched him get door after door shut in his face so I felt bad and said yes I’d do this survey.

Thinking it would last ten minutes I then stood there for a good half an hour while he went through this huge list of radio channels, took my details and filled in a booklet... then sprung it on me I’d need to complete this booklet over the space of a week and he’d pick it back up next week Shock

Well I’d already gone too deep at that point so out of politeness just accepted it and thought I’d tuck some random boxes and hand it back over next week

Cue 6 days later when both DC are in bed and I’m having a nice bath at almost 10pm when I get a phone call to my mobile off this guy saying he’s “just round the corner” and can he “quickly nip round for the booklet” followed by “sorry I know it’s late”

I was ShockShock Is it just me or is about 9:45pm at night a ridiculous time for a marketer/researcher to get in touch?

Willing to be told I’m being precious but I’ve never heard of it before

WIBU to answer “you’re right it is late” and hang up on him, throwing his booklet in the recycling Blush

I've done the tasting ones! We get stopped regularly to take part; once for noodles, once for Kinder Bueno and once for another type of choc Grin
Didn't get paid but did get free samples.
