For sitting here on AIBU when I can hear my dd whinging in her cot having woken up from nap but I can't be arsed to go and get her?

AIBU? Is this tantamount to child abuse? Should I be utterly ashamed of my bad mumliness? Or have we all been there done that and am I therefore absolved by default?

I've done it...only for a few mins or so though and absolved myself of guilt by saying oh well, everyone needs time to wake up properly don't they, even DS????!!

Wotz · 12/06/2007 14:58

move away from mn...

Mindles · 12/06/2007 14:58

Probably depends how desperately she's crying, but you said whinging not screaming so I don't think it's child abuse.

Sixofone · 12/06/2007 14:59

Hmmm well the whinging has turned into a roar so I'd better go fetch her

ps only for whinging/cooing - not full on cries in which case its a mad dash from the PC to his room!
