WIBU to buy, use and flush these wipes?

Saw these wipes at the end of the loo roll aisle at Aldi.

I didn't buy them as I have no need. However, if I did, WIBU to use them and flush them down the loo as the packaging directs?

Fully aware and support not flushing baby wipes, sanitary products etc. and the only thing that is acceptable to flush is toilet paper. other than the usual wee/poo/vom

Did you read the bit where I said “bagging seems the best option” Hmm

As useful as the above looks, it’s sadly impractical.

Whatwould - I think it’s a bit like straws, we coped without them but now they’re trying to phase them out it’s becoming recognised that they have a place for people with some medical conditions. These are similar, yeah we lived without them but they can make life a lot more comfortable for some people.

BigChocFrenzy · 30/09/2018 18:31

Maybe most of us can bag 'em,
but imo anyone with a serious disability - like ProfessorMoody - that makes this impractical, should feel free to use something that makes their lives easier.

Thanks BigChoc - I'm definitely going to start making my own washable ones again though, they were great when I used cloth nappies. I don't know why I haven't thought about it before now!

Flat above used these, til we had blocked drains for months on end & landlord & his handyman had words with them.

Notcontent · 30/09/2018 19:12

You definitely need to put those in a bathroom bin rather than flushing them! I speak from experience - they do block drains and can cause some rather unpleasant plumbing problems!!!!

Espresso That is exactly what I use, because it is so slim it fits fine between my legs while I'm sat on the loo. I use baby wipes too but bag and bin them.

rebelworld · 30/09/2018 21:49

@MortyVicar Because there’s no water in the packet.

SpoonBlender · 30/09/2018 23:14

If anyone has the wherewithal but not the ability to use an espresso style loo sprayhead, you can get a Japanese style autobidet loo seat starting at about £500...
