Just that really.. I have had Emetophobia (with OCD) since the age of 7 and it affects my life a lot. I am just about to start EMDR for it (after having had tons of CBT over the last 15 years) and hoping that it's possible to get over it but not feeling too hopeful! I would love to hear some positive recovery stories!

Reading with interest. It's really affecting aspects of my life. I'm especially bad on planes, constantly anxious about who's sat near me, will they puke. I'm now avoiding plane travel, but I love holidays! Also really bad in restaurants. Hate it & my family just don't get it.

@happyadasandboy unfortunately for me I feel it's having the kids that had made it worse Sad
My DC2 seems prone to picking up stomach bugs and initially I was dealing with them well then 2 years ago she got noro very badly and spread it round to the rest of the family and I was sick for the first time in about 25 years. Found the whole thing very traumatizing and am always living in dread of the next bug. You sound as though you are coping really well. You should be very proud of yourself, I know how hard it is to do.
