Worried about going away and DP staying home. Why?

Feeling weird. Going away for a few days with my mum. I'm pregnant (nearly 35 week) and DP has text twice asking 'when are you leaving?' and 'what time did you say you were leaving?' in the pay couple of days whilst at work.

DP has never given me any reason to feel like he's going to cheat, or do anything I wouldn't want him to, but I just have this weird gut feeling something isn't right. I have NO idea why as he hasn't actually given me reason to think this.

I feel guilty for feeling like this. I'm blaming it on hormones and quietly feeling ashamed of myself for even thinking this.

We haven't had sex in months which is another reason I think I'm feeling like this. I feel really unattractive and mentally exhausted and want to know how I can get this stupid thought of him cheating out of my head.

Do I sound completely nuts? Am I awful for even thinking this?

I've never been a paranoid person but for some reason I just feel a bit odd Sad

Wants to know when your leaving so he watch porn? (Which maybe why you subconsciously feel uneasy)

Fairyliz · 24/09/2018 16:58

I am assuming this is your first baby? Maybe subconsciously he is really worried about you being away from him with his baby. Keep ringing you is just a way to check in with you and asking how you are. Yes I know it would be more 'normal' just to say 'how are you feeling' but men have their funny little ways.

@hettie couldn't care less if he wants to watch porn!

I think I'm just being silly...

I would have thought he is just getting a bit more worried about you than normal as you are pregnant. He wants to protect you and your unborn child, but actually there is nothing he can do or needs to do. Therefore he is starting to want to know your movements more than before. I think it's a normal expression of pre birth nerves in a dad to be.

Carlita23 Don't ruin your time away worrying. I think it is a bit OTT of people to accuse him of cheating. Especially, when he has never given you cause to worry and you are due your first baby in 5 weeks . There is no need to upset yourself or him unnecessarily. It is not good for you or your baby to be under this stress. Talk to your DH.

Talk to your DP. Tell him how you feel. He's your partner, you are having a baby together so surely you can be open and honest about how you are feeling?
No one on here knows why he is asking what time you are leaving....but HE does!
