Brideshead Revisited. I think it would be a close runner for my Desert Island eight.

Always thought The Clothes Show theme (by The Pet Shop Boys) really suited the programme.

Life Without George - it was an 80's sitcom and for some reason the theme has always stuck in my head. Just listened to it on youtube and it sounded shockingly awful, but in my head it was great :

Haven't read the whole thread so sorry if this has been mentioned already but Magnum was a cracker...

Butterflies, from the 80s or maybe even the 70s, Wendy Craig was in it. It had a very sweet theme tune, if I remember it correctly.
