To think there's a good chance we've all walked past another Mumsnetter in the street today?

I bet it's probable that we each live a few doors away from at least one other Mumsnetter.

For all we know, we could have walked past a Mumsnetter whose thread we've just replied to. Maybe that MNer we argued with yesterday was the person we just bumped into in Morrisons...

Supposedly there are only six degrees of separation between all people. I bet Mumsnet is responsible for some of those bridges!

IT'S funny you should start this thread as I was in town today and the same thought randomly popped in my head.

@bigbean8

I've thought the same thing especially at baby groups. Grin

Whenever I saw anyone wearing one of those baggy jumpsuit things from eBay that was raved about on Style pages (yep, I got one too Blush) over the summer I was immediately sure they must be a mumsnetter. A flying squirrel suit I think someone's husband called them. And if there was a faint zoflora whiff to them then all bets would be off!

I’ve been at a massive children’s party in a naice village (for the record I don’t live there!) there were definitely MNers there!

I don’t think the rat thing is a Foot? Six foot maybe but even that’s pushing it. Given that I’m currently upstairs and more than six foot off the ground unless there’s one inside my walls I think I’m safe.

dontbesillyhenry · 22/09/2018 21:35

Yes a foot!! Or it may be less

EndeavourVoyage · 22/09/2018 21:37

If one of you have been hiking in the Peak District then probably, yes.

I suspect many MNers are doing the University open days at the moment with their beloved DC Wink

I agree OP. I PM’d a poster once. Turned out she lives a few streets away but our kids go to different schools, as we’re in between catchment areas. We’ve met a few times a year in RL since.
