AIBU to want a quick fix for wart removal?

Hi all,
Posting here for traffic. I have a wart on my knuckle, need it gone asap. Waiting 6-8 weeks (or years going by older threads on here) isn't ideal...
I work in healthcare, constantly washing my hands so plasters etc won't withstand that. With weather getting colder my hands are likely to become chapped and broken. I assume I can't work with a bleeding wart... 😷

I had one on my knuckle too. I would ‘cut’ it out with nail scissors and tweezers then it would come back
Was fed up one day so after I cut it out I warmed a knife on the stove until it glowed red and then burnt the wound.
Never come back since.
Took about 2 weeks to heal though. Was very painful. I wouldn’t recommend.
As a kid I had a wart froze at the GPS?

File the rough skin as well with a nail file before you use any treatments!
