Hi,
I know the things that irritate the f*ck out of me are sometimes over the top so just expressing them here to see what irritates others.

People that stand really close to me in queues... They aren't going to get served any faster so get out of my fu king personal space.
*Obviously all the driving ones... Tailgaters, sitting in the middle lane on a motorway, overtaking dangerously, not putting their hand up when I've let them out, parking like a dick and not in the middle of a space so I can't open my car doors, arrogance (drivers of BMW's, some AUDI's and 4x4's (range rovers in particularly), lorry drivers, white van drivers and really really slow drivers.
*People who don't say thankyou when I've held a door open.
*People who bang into me or brush past me in a shop.
*Arrogant people.
*Rude people.
*People that lick arse.
*Two faced people.
*People who say "I tell the truth, I speak my mind and I say it like it is" when they clearly don't.
*People from Yorkshire always have to tell you for example "I'm from Yorkshire and we say it how it is".
People who pout and don't realise they look like a absolute prck.
*People who post loads of selfies... Get over yourself and stop fishing for compliments.
*People who are your 'friend' on Facebook but don't say hi in the street.
Bragging on social media of how great your life is... No one really gives a sht.
People who touch my hair or face.
People who say they don't want any chips for example but then try to take 'just the one' chip off you....get your fucking own, I don't give a sh
t whether your on a diet.
*People who are obsessed with what I'm eating or whether I've been 'naughty' and had a chip or cake for example.
*People who flex their muscles in the mirror and take pictures of themselves at the gym.
*My neighbours.
*Cats.

There are so many more but massive boring posts are on the list so I'd better stop now....

OP posts:
JustJoinedRightNow · 20/09/2018 12:10

My partner flossing his teeth. Then getting annoyed with me for asking him to close the door. I hate that noise more than anything in the world. Makes me so so angry.

I also agree with most of your list OP except the cat part. People who don’t like cats annoy me 😀

extremelymaturecheese · 20/09/2018 12:14

I get really annoyed with those resealable food packets (like for pasta, sweets etc). The sticker is either way too short or the packet tears up in all unsealable directions when you open it in the first place.

I get murdery when I peel stickers off appliances, envelopes etc. and they leave half the sticker behind, or even worse: the tacky residue.

I also get really annoyed with my non-working son.

"Look, I know you're only two but stop being such a snowflake and get back up that chimney!"

Wink
MissusGeneHunt · 20/09/2018 12:15

Space Invaders (people, not the rather dated 80s Commodore game)
Dog haters
Cat haters
People who make up MH issues at work when actually they are just fucking rude, goady and needy
People who move to the country and then moan about there being no buses / no Waitrose / 'it's smelly'
Picky (I mean REALLY picky) eaters who don't have allergies / religious adherence / SEN taste or texture issues
People who don't say 'thank you' or teach their children to say 'thank you'
People who don't reply to invitations where it clearly says 'RSVP' in the corner
Bandwagon jumper-oners who are so damn woke

I could go on, but I realise I already sound like a bitter twisted old bag. Oh, hang on.....

BrightLightsAndSound · 20/09/2018 12:15

Women who make a big deal out of being short all the time like "OMG look in the photo I look like a child!!!" Like we get it, you think you're a small cute girly fairy woman. But you're actually just short.

Queue jumpers - the fuck?

When people who have lived the safest, most risk free lives its possible to lead give you advice encouraging you to take high risk quite fraught paths.

People who need to put others down to feel good

Needy friends who need to be in constant communication to feel loved

Pushy people where somehow the night always ends up going their way

Penny pinchers who never get a round in/slow to go to the bar

Performance parenting

BrightLightsAndSound · 20/09/2018 12:17

Country bumpkins who went to London like once 12 years ago and mindlessly spout the old "city people are so unfriendly!" trope

Dotty1970 · 20/09/2018 12:41

I think I might have been OK if I didn't mention the cats one Grin.

The person who mentioned people blocking doorways I agree they are fu*cking so annoying especially the ones who look like they're doing you a favour when you say excuse me.

Also to add the fact my husband went to hospital with a bit of stomach ache and got offered morphine and when I went in when in labour I got offered 2 paracetamol.

People queuing for roundabouts who inch out so far over the line as you are coming round that they almost block your way - just f*cking wait 5 seconds and pull out when there's an actual gap dipshit!

Car park ticket machines that give me an electric shock.

Drivers who pull out of a side road right in front of you and then drive 10 mph slower than they need to.

Dust. You wipe it away, ten minutes later there's more.

Wasps. That's MY f*cking lunch - piss off out of my face be-winged gits!

LottieLou90 · 20/09/2018 12:46

I can relate to almost all of these!
A few others:

Noisy eaters
Poor customer service
Stubbing toe / treading on Lego
Finding out you left a tissue in your pocket after washing it
People that leave shopping trolleys in car parking spaces
Self scan ‘please place item in bagging area’ places item in bagging area ‘help is coming’ WTAF?!
And a new one for me which I found out this morning when having a shower is DP using my shampoo (annoying enough) but not using conditioner so now I have half a bottle of shampoo and a full bottle of conditioner Angry
Oh and my DD6 not being able to find anything ever. Even when it’s staring at her in the face. Then asking me to find something / get a snack when I’m feeding 5 week old DS and when I ask her why daddy can’t help and her response “daddy is sleeping and I don’t want to disturb him”

Magicpaintbrush · 20/09/2018 12:50

And just to add to my list:

CF neighbours who use you as their personal sorting office because they know you work from home Angry.

nomorepeoplepleasing · 20/09/2018 13:00

Women who make a big deal out of being short all the time like "OMG look in the photo I look like a child!!!" Like we get it, you think you're a small cute girly fairy woman. But you're actually just short. You've met my MIL then BrightLightsAndSound!

I am currently very irritated with:

  • manufacturers who put their shampoo and conditioner in almost identical bottles. When I take my glasses off to get in the shower I can't tell which is which until I've got a hand full of conditioner instead of shampoo. How hard would it be to have a different bottle or at least the word SHAMPOO in big writing (I know I can write on them in sharpie but that's not the point!)
  • Navy and black tights that are indistinguishable... until you leave the house in a black outfit and navy tights/blue outfit and black tights. I would like to campaign for compulsory colour labels. And whilst we're at it, size labels- nothing worse than getting half way in to a pair of tights to realise they are DDs 'small' one and not by 'large'.
chipsandgin · 20/09/2018 13:04

Totally agree with pp about parents sending in kids before 48hrs is up after a sick bug. Selfish twats.

People who sit in a traffic queue but don't leave a gap at the exit from a side road so you have to wait forever to turn out to drive in the opposite, lovely and clear direction than them. Utter twats who have made me late for school every day for two weeks because I'm already cutting it fine before encountering your shitty driving skills and sitting staring at you for 5 minutes whilst you block my exit

Time40 · 20/09/2018 13:12

People who refuse to be quiet in the Quiet Coach on the train. There is absolutely nothing in life more irritating than that. Nothing.

Satsumaeater · 20/09/2018 13:12

I agree with nearly everything other people have said.

The way meat is packaged so you end up having to handle it and so end up having to wash your hands several times.

People who sit in a traffic queue but don't leave a gap at the exit from a side road so you have to wait forever to turn out to drive in the opposite, lovely and clear direction than them

Oh yes this. There were temporary traffic lights at the end our (cul-de-sac) road for about 3 weeks and people kept stopping over the mouth of the road. I came back one evening and a POLICE CAR was blocking it. I just stopped, flashed my lights and he reversed back a bit so I could get through. Do NOT block side roads!

Oh and if a pedestrian is crossing a side road you want to turn into, THEY have priority, not you. Even if you are indicating. You wait.

How hard would it be to have a different bottle or at least the word SHAMPOO in big writing Yes, this! Maybe I need glasses...

People queuing for roundabouts who inch out so far over the line as you are coming round that they almost block your way - just fcking wait 5 seconds and pull out when there's an actual gap dipshit*

I do this coming out of my local railway station because there is a bridge over the railway line coming onto the roundabout and people put their foot to the floor as they come off the bridge. If they took their foot off the accelerator people could get out of the station. So I close up the gap as much as I dare, in the hope they'll slow down and I can get out. What it really needs is a speed bump.

bsbabas · 20/09/2018 13:15

Chillout if have anger issues and you seem unhinged !

PositiveVibez · 20/09/2018 13:20

Every single one of the Nationwide adverts that have been on in the last couple of years.

I do realise it is absolutely irrational how much I detest them. And before someone says 'just change the channel', they are also on the radio.

And whilst on about the radio I really hate it when radio shows play a snippet of something off the TV. Or when they taste good on the radio.

Just why!!!!!

PositiveVibez · 20/09/2018 13:20

*food

Idontbelieveinthemoon · 20/09/2018 13:21

People who double dip. DH's friends came to visit recently and we went out for supper. The woman was lovely but the man dipped his bread into my balsamic vinegar/oil, bit the end off it an put the bit he'd bitten (as in the bit that had touched his teeth) back into my dip. Filthy shite.

The best part was that DH knows how unstable double-dipping makes me so smiled at me every time it happened and laughed like a drain when they left and I declared I'd die before they were allowed to come back and stay.

Clothrabbit · 20/09/2018 13:25

Ugh. Hate double dipping or people putting their used fork into the communal serving dish.

Noisy people in restaurants annoy me - people bellowing into their phones , letting their kids shout and scream , screeching laughing every two minutes.

Crackedvase · 20/09/2018 13:46

*people who spit on the sidewalk bleurgh

  • people standing too close in queues
  • hoarding
  • litterbugs
  • religious door knockers (rectified-I got a sign made Grin)
  • getting into my car in a car park and someone doing a 500 point manoeuvre to park right beside me
  • mouth breathing
  • kids in the cinema (including mine- I just want to watch The Incredibles in peace!)
  • dog owners and not picking up their shit!
  • my husband eating cereal
Dotty1970 · 20/09/2018 18:21

*sidewalk?

people eating like pigs for example.... with their mouths open, talking whilst eating, apologising for talking whilst eating but still doing it, making noises, being so dumb with zero manners to even see what a rude discusting prck they are.

*people spitting.

*one of the worst is anything to do with noses and snot [vomit 🤮].

people staring at me (or even looking at me when I have pmt), especially when I'm eating....look at the fcking menu not me or my food.

OP posts:
Crackedvase · 20/09/2018 19:13

Footpath, dotty

Zerrin13 · 20/09/2018 22:26

My husband letting the ash from his cigarette get really long before tapping it in the ashtray. I feel murderous when he does this.
People constantly asking flight stewards for things during flights.
Idiots risking life and limb to have an enormous arse(Brazilian but lifts)
Massive enhanced trout pouts
Huge false eyelashes. ( I just want to rip them off the wearer)
Fat people being described as curvy
The trend for black dyed hair and creasote orange skin. It suits no-one

ShutUpBaz · 20/09/2018 22:38

Faffers.

People who are constantly late. Rage inducing!!

Staff I have to think for.

Parents who allow their DC to run around and scream in my pub.

Channel hoppers. My DD is one of these. Just pick something to watch!!!

MissClareRemembers · 20/09/2018 22:48

People who don’t know that ‘thank you’ is two words.

People who rant and rave about the supposed injustice of school policies and rules on school Facebook pages but never, ever volunteer to help with any school events.

DianaPrincessOfThemyscira · 20/09/2018 22:57

Fucking everything at the moment.

But particularly when I’ve had a lovely evening with my kids and then they fuck around at bedtime. Which is every. Fucking. Night. It winds me up so much.
