To think it's not normal to be nervous every day for college?

DD gets nervous every day, even when there is nothing to be nervous about (her words).

Is this anxiety worth worrying about?

Normal or abnormal are perhaps not the most helpful ways to think about this situation. I'd rather think how it can be improved. You can talk to her, and find out if there's anything specific which makes her feel this way, or she is generally a shy, nervous person. What is her self-esteem like? Does she often think in categories like "failure", "fear", "rejection"?

I had what I realised later, as an adult, is an anxiety every fucking day of school for 10 years. That hollow sucking feeling in the chest and stomach, no appetite in the morning and stomach upset. Nobody knew because I didn't tell anyone. i thought it's just me being a weirdo, while everyone else is "normal". My Mum was shocked whne I told her that in my 20s. It's good that you know now; that means you can help.

I had a mild dose of anti-depressants for most of my adult life (20 years, actually, until last year) and it made a massive difference with my anxiety. She might be different, but this is an option too.
Good luck.

other thing: has she started college recently? if so, it might be just a normal adjustment process.
