Or failing that move out and let the fucking mouse I’ve just seen in my bathroom have the lot. Kids, furniture... everything.

Is it worth checking your drains ? A cap had come off inside one by our front door and pest control said it was like opening a rodent highway straight into our (london) flat !

Many years ago we had a smallish rat in our garden that had come from the river that ran at the back of our garden.

My son fetched the cat who looked at it, tapped it on the head and ran away.

Cat's aren't always the answer to rodent problems.

Having said that he was a terrific mouser. Only trouble was he'd catch wood mice, bring them into the house and release them alive, I assume for the humans in the house to learn how to hunt them.

Lovely cat, but not great at getting rid of rodents.

Your cat sounds fantastic. I love mine to bits but they haven't read the 'Mouser' job description. I just make sure never to walk around the house barefoot, and check my slippers before I put them on.
