Why do people air everything on Facebook in a passive aggressive way

Dd is 4 shortly and is having a class party. So in the spirit of everyone or no one I got a class list from the teacher and sent out invitations via school this week as dd is away.

I didn't know a child had moved back to dds class so they weren't on the list no issue with this child dd likes them and they've been to our house multiple times but as it is a pay per head class party I had to draw the line somewhere right?

Instead of this child's mom just sending me a message along the lines of 'hi hope your OK did you know dc has rejoined class? Only whole class but dc has had an invite and I just wanted to check' she's plastered it all over Facebook they her child has been left out and is heartbroken to the point where a mutual friend has text me telling me this child is back in the class and wondering if there's been an error!

I've sorted it in 2 seconds with the dcs mum but why not just text me directly when there's clearly been an error?

Because they like the drama

JohnnyKarate · 18/09/2018 15:50

They are craving attention

I hope she feels like a massive tit after her fb paddy! Hopefully she'll do things differently next time

Nicpem1982 · 18/09/2018 16:11

I did apologise to the mum

Attention seeker, get your friend to leave a comment about the list mix up as the mum is probably getting people leaving "thats terrible hun" etc on her post.

GreatDuckCookery6211 · 18/09/2018 16:16

Because some people can't talk to other people like adults but have to be all PA on Facey.

Nicpem1982 · 18/09/2018 16:16

She has as well as adding so glad to hear it's all sorted now!

Because they are attention seeking drama queens who love looking like victims and then receiving lots of "aww hun, u ok" comments.
They make themselves look like right tits.

StarfishSandwich · 18/09/2018 16:17

So when people ask what’s wrong she can say ‘PM me babe’ Envy

Nicpem1982 · 18/09/2018 16:18

There was some pm me babes on the post

Angry I wonder why people love drama so much, it gives me a headache!

Nicpem1982 · 18/09/2018 16:26

Yep literally 2 minutes and it was sorted the mum even rsvpd no drama required

Why did you apologise??

Her kid presumably wasn't on the list of names you got from the teacher otherwise she'd have got a flipping invite!

I swear FB brings out the worst in people.

Perhaps you could do a public post yourself with something equally childish and attention seeking

Nicpem1982 · 18/09/2018 16:33

Failing - I apologised as I don't like the idea of a child being upset by something that could have been avoided, although the error wasn't mine, it's a new class I couldn't pick most of these kids out in a line up, I know the dcs feelings would have been hurt
