when used as the caption of a picture of my DH and siblings, posted by his sister?

Or should I lighten up?

My friends saw the post (my DH was tagged and my friends have him on FB) and they reacted negatively. But of course, they know the history between me and my SIL.

I honestly think you are overthinking it, unless you think there is a deliberate dig. Lots of bollocks on Facebook which probably shouldn’t be but just scroll on.

Yeah, she was probably just trying to be cute.

Then again, many years ago, when we have just started dating, she told her friend (within my earshot) that "she's only with him for his money."

Oh, and my DH used to support their family financially.

Pals before gals

Unless there’s a huge drip feed coming then this is a massive overreaction and just a caption for her photo

Bros before Hoes, Chicks before Dicks. Both sentiments that are supposed to mean that you don't ditch your mates for a relationship.
My friends and I have a picture on Instagram this weekends hen do with the second caption (we're 42 and more than happy to revel in a bit of childishness)
It was obviously meant as a joke, I would add a laughing face emoji to the comment and forget about it.

@MaisyPops I'd never have put it on faceache... my mum would kill me as she would if I tagged any of my 6 brothers in a bro's before ho's status!

I'd be getting lectured about ladylike behaviour, appropriateness & language - the 5min hilarity wouldn't be worth the hassle 🤣
