To quit gym and accept that I don't like exercise?

I'm paying £50 a month for gym membership. Started off well and was going 4 times a week, convinced myself I enjoyed it and I maybe did until the "new thing" novelty wore off.
Now, I really don't enjoy it at all. I rarely go and when I do I'm staring at the clock dying to go home.
I stress myself out all day thinking "it's Monday, I have to go ... " but I've been at work all day and to be quite honest, I just want to go home and sloth around in my pyjamas.
I don't like it! Why am I paying for something I dislike?

Yeah I want to be toned and look like a super model but let's be honest, it ain't gonna happen is it.

AIBU to quit the gym, stop pretending I'm something I'm not and accept that I'm a lazy twat who doesn't like exercise?

I pay for exercise classes in local halls. I love Zumba, Stretch and Tone, Pilates and yoga. I do Booty Barre and Boxercise too, although I may give up Boxercise because I’m not enjoying it.

It’s a question of finding something to DO enjoy I think.

I agree. I joined the gym early this year and enjoyed it initially but got very bored on the cardio equipment. I joined originally for fitness and core strength for a bad back.

I was finding hard to motivate myself to go. I did go 3 times a week but definitely didn't enjoy it.

So I booked a yoga class on the advice of a friend. And bingo! I'd found my "thing"

I honestly love it and do yoga and pilates 4 times a week. I bought my own yoga mat and resistance band and practice at home too.

Best thing I ever did. I'm stronger, fitter and even have a slight six pack after 4 months.

It totally chills me out and I sleep better too. If I can't get to a class there are tonnes of YouTube videos and apps that I use too.

YWBU to give up on exercise. Loads of options!
