AIBU to want to take DD to the doctor for this?

My 7 year old DD has had this red mark on her nose for months. At first I thought it was a spot, then I hoped the sun would clear it up this summer, but it’s still there. It hasn’t got any bigger but I don’t know what it is. Was planning on making an appointment with the GP today but wondered if anyone might know what it is? Thanks.

it's a spot.

@Medea13 thank you for your reply! She has had it for months and months though, is that possible to have a spot for so long?

If it hasn’t changed colour or shape, then no, I wouldn’t make an appointment.

Thank you @AgentJohnson - no it hasn’t changed. Thank you for your reply. Maybe it is just a stubborn spot! If it was on my face, I’d squeeze it . . .

Looks like a stubborn spot! If it was me I would have tried to squeeze it lol i love popping spots I'm a bit weird though haha! Have you maybe tried some spot clearing face wash? If you do try sensitive skin stuff x

We’ve recently tried face wash, followed by sudocrem and most recently have found my trusty sunflower cream best, it is antibacterial and gentle. It’s made no end of difference to a scabby patch on my fave and spots on a family member.!You can order direct from their website or from lloydspharmacy online and collect from a shop for free. Can’t recommend this enough.

Thank you @niknak1 I shall google it x
