What is it and can anyone give an example of one round?

Me,my brother and sister plus DH played against our parents. The sibs and I were looking forward to freaking ma and pa out.

Oh, how wrong were were...

BombayThanksgiving · 14/09/2018 16:46

'Bullying'? Really? For fuck's sake.

If you're easily offended, nobody is making you play the game - you can just say it's not your cup of tea. To call it 'bullying' is bloody ridiculous.

SoupDragon · 14/09/2018 16:51

Jimmy Seville

Saville’s lesser known Mediterranean cousin with the orange skin tone?

StarCutterCookie · 14/09/2018 16:51

"Wanking into a pool filled with children's tears"

"Slapping a biscuit out of an orphan’s mouth"

"Doing a shit in Pudsey Bear’s eye hole"

Love it, especially when playing with po faced squares.

Birdsgottafly · 14/09/2018 16:55

I won't play it because of the Hillsborough card, I'd have to react to it, being seen as 'hilarious'. Its to soon, IMO.

Regardless of your feelings towards the McCanns, there is still a dead three year old at the center of it.

amusedbush · 14/09/2018 16:59

Put it this way, if you don't know what a bukakke is, this isn't the game for you.

Grin
SlothSlothSloth · 14/09/2018 17:06

Unfunny people think this game is hilarious

Defrack · 14/09/2018 17:07

Seville is very exotic yes Grin

Missing 3 year old, not dead, missing.

Defrack · 14/09/2018 17:08

I'm not unfunny. I have a dark sense of humour though.

NoFuckingRoomOnMyBroom · 14/09/2018 17:11

It's a fab game but you need to choose who you play it with carefully.
We've also got Disturbed Friends-this requires very good friends to play it with...

madeoficecream · 14/09/2018 17:15

I enjoyed playing it but I wasnt as good as I thought I would be at it!!
Cant play the crowd. I have a friend who ALWAYS wins!

ApolloandDaphne · 14/09/2018 17:17

I have played it a few times and loved it but i can have a very black humour. If you think some of the cards are going to really offend you can choose not to play them or remove them from the game. It isn't hard to do.

InteriorLulu · 14/09/2018 17:23

Agree that you have to choose who to play it with wisely.

Also agree that the Jimmy Saville card is gold Smile - one of ours was 'what made my first kiss awkward' the best answer 'Jimmy Saville'.

We removed the Madeleine McCann one because we felt it was a step too far.

DollyWilde · 14/09/2018 17:23

@DarlingNikita

If I'm truly honest, I can't remember because we were pissed Blush

SoupDragon · 14/09/2018 17:24

Missing 3 year old, not dead, missing.

If she’s missing, she isn’t 3.

QueenNovo · 14/09/2018 17:25

Do you get different versions for different countries? I had a look at the online version and it seemed very USAcentric. Never played in real life.

NoFuckingRoomOnMyBroom · 14/09/2018 17:26

You can get extension packs & I think the US cards may be a little less tame than the UK ones...

Shoxfordian · 14/09/2018 17:27

I love it
If you're easily offended though then probably not for you

Jux · 14/09/2018 17:31

DD plays CAH regularly. I am proud to say she usually wins. It's a very funny game, especially if you're having a beer at the same time. Grin

DarlingNikita · 14/09/2018 17:44

Dolly, that's SO tantalising and disappointing Grin

ManyCrisps · 14/09/2018 17:50

I do understand why some people don’t like this game because dark humour is just like food not everyone gets it

theknackster · 14/09/2018 17:56

There is a UK edition that has been, and I quote: 'adapted from the US edition to suit your outmoded culture.' Grin

They are a funny company - see their 'bullshit' edition (literally, manure) for their 'black friday' sale a few years ago.

DingDongDenny · 14/09/2018 17:59

I'm not easily offended but you know jokes about rape, child abuse, disability, genocide - that'll do it. I reckon that's a pretty high bar

ItchySeveredFoot · 14/09/2018 18:03

I love it. Have there's a card that reads "Daniel Radcliffe's delicious arse hole" and somebody asked him to sign it. He was thrilled and said he'd been waiting for ages!

DanglyBangly · 14/09/2018 18:04

I don’t play the Madeline McCann, Hillsborough or Jade Goody type cards because they still have families living. I just quietly put them out of the way.

‘Tories’ ‘poor people’ ‘dead babies’ are non-specific, generic things so I don’t mind those. Though it’s a know your audience issue because you wouldn’t want the latter with someone who’d suffered a stillbirth, for example.
