To think Santa should only come out on Christmas Eve?

It's that time of year when my Facebook is full of ...
"Breakfast with Santa"
"Tea with Santa"
"Polar express trip with Santa"

The worlds gone mad,the whole magic of Christmas when I was young was the fact you didn't see Santa and he only came out on Christmas Eve (and when you visited the department store you seen his helper or his brother ;-) )
Do you think the magic of Christmas is going?

Isn't he too busy on Christmas Eve?

I'm 48 and every year we saw Father Christmas at a) the church fate and b) Co-op dept store - it's hardly new

I'm nearly 48 and I think you're wrong

We have Santa sleigh here, he visits schools and the Christmas disco, he's in the shops and available for lunch or tea, last year he was worst for wear on the Main Street.... tut tut

It's all money and 'Mom Alice is going to the North Pole and Jimmy is having tea with Santa ..... '

It's really not please tell for kids who's parent scant afford it - it's another way to move the goal posts
