So dh snores. I've lived with it for years. I found some really good earplugs.

But now he twitches and jerks as well.

He's doing it roughly every couple of minutes. It's that jerk thing you do when you are half asleep iyswim, except he's fast asleep.

I am also menopausal so hot flashes are keeping me awake as well as the incessant twitching

I have never wanted a spare room more.

Film him (personally I'd advise him I was going to do it, so he could see why you are concerned). The get him tot he GP. Sleep apnoea doesn't mean losing your licence - DMIL and DGFIL both have it and have not had to notify the GP. That is mainly as they both had it diagnosed early, before the day-time sleepiness occurred. The longer he leaves it, the more likely he is to experience other symptoms which make it more likely he'll have to notify the DVLA.

Twitching and jerking is on the second tier of symptoms, so now is the time to go!

CatherineCrewe you could threaten to tell the DVLA if he refuses to go to the GP.

A Friend's husband told me about Smart Nora www.smartnora.com/
He had just taken delivery when I saw him so I don't know how he's getting on but he was very excited about it!! I don't have any connection to the company
