To get the fear half way through putting on my mascara?

Every single day.
I finish one eye and then I get a stress flutter in my stomach for fear that the door bell will ring or I'll get interrupted by one of the (many) dc and I'll have to answer the door or go around for the rest of the day like the cover from The Clockwork Orange.
Does anyone else get this?

I dry my mascara with cool setting of hair drier to stop any sneezing issues Grin

Oh the dilemma.

What a pointless and ridiculous and stealth boasting post.

I shall leave now never to return the this thread

I worry when I'm part way through colouring my hair and the baby needs feeding... not quite the same thing.

My waters broke when I was getting ready to go in to town to the shops.
I gave birth with one eye made up and the other not. Grin

I have once spent an entire day with only one eye with eyeliner on... dd distracted me and we rushed out of the house. When I finally realised I never wanted to leave the house again, so I feel your pain op!

I get this OP. With me it's the fact my memory is so shocking that I worry I'll forget I've only done one eye if I get interrupted, and then go about the rest of my day with one made up and one un-made up eye.

(Re some of the responses: sadly you didn't garnish your thread liberally with LIGHTHEARTED in flashing neon lights, so you had an invasion of the fun sponges who can't tell when an OP posts about something that they almost certainly know doesn't involve the fate of nations but is something they muse on occasionally and want to share, and so the FSs jump on it as a chance to be as disparaging as possible.)

PissPotPourri · 31/08/2018 16:36

I was just thinking the same thing bananananana although wouldn't have put it quite so we'll as you. Shame on me for not bringing enough gravitas to a thread.
Also a shame that one is expected to talk disparagingly about oneself at all times. How dare I answer the questions with answers which allude to a part of my body which is less than awful, without apologising or somehow putting myself down. I was only answering questions and am not sure my explanation would have made sense without describing them but hey...I stand corrected and should have left that out. Next time I'll leave vital detail out and get accused of drip feeding!
