Just watching the loose women with the woman from how clean is your house, I think she's being treated so unfairly. Shame on ITV for putting this stuff out, it's lower than Jerome Kyle!

It all feels reminiscent of when jade goody and Co picked on shilpa. It ruined those ladies careers. With any luck this incident will wreck these woman's careers too and be the downfall of this trashy tv programme.

sweethope · 31/08/2018 00:03

bringin me too, I remember the despair so well when you look around for at least one kind face, someone to speak up for you. Poor Kim even appealed to the audience, who were all obviously told to be team Coleen. No wonder the poor woman broke down. Absolutely horrible.

Rebecca36 · 31/08/2018 04:32

I'd have to know her in person to be able to judge.

onemorecupofcoffeefortheroad · 31/08/2018 06:21

I’m no fan of the Nolan sisters, have never watched LW and hadn’t seen the Big Brother footage of Kim’s time there until yesterday but Kim’s behaviour is bizarre.

She imagines slights and then launches into high handed behaviour and personal attacks on people calling them offensive names and using nasty language. Then when ‘the attacked’ try and defend themselves she claims she is being ganged up on and pulls the ‘poor me’ card - ‘I had a terrible childhood’.

As for the LW debacle 2 days ago I have read both this thread and the other thread about Kim and am struggling to see any bullying - Kim arrived on set all mouth pursed, cocky and hostile - was given a chance to say her bit while the presenters sat back and listened. Kim accused Colleen of being two faced, no one disputed this and then Colleen was given the chance to reply and admitted that yes maybe she had been two faced.

But instead of recognising that Colleen had acquiesed to Kim’s accusations and possibly made a first small step in some sort of reconciliation Kim didn’t want to know - she continued to kick off, called people names, slapped Linda Robson’s hand away when she attempted to comfort her, talked over everyone, attempted to get the audience on her side by suggesting that Colleen was disingenuous (maybe she is but that's not the point) and then when the other women called her on her behaviour she accused them of ganging up on her.

I’m sorry for Kim’s appalling childhood but that’s no excuse for her imperious, unpleasant and illogical behaviour.

ShatnersWig · 31/08/2018 07:55

Is that you, Coleen?

GunpowderGelatine · 31/08/2018 07:57

So admittedly I didn't watch them in CBB, I wasn't aware of any 'feud' until this Loose Women clip went viral. And I haven't seen the episode, only the clip, so I imagine I'm missing some context, but honestly what I saw is that vile woman Kim Woodburn screaming, carrying on and jabbing her finger at Colleen. How is Colleen the bully in this?? And of course her sister is gonna stick up for her! I don't know why people are painting Kim as some sort of quivering victim, she'd have a screaming argument in an empty room that one.

GunpowderGelatine · 31/08/2018 07:59

And people are deluded if they think Loose Women execs are gonna bollock anyone. They'll have been raising their glasses at that clip going viral and their ratings will be boosted today. I think people forget TV shows want to make money, they seldom give a shit about human beings (unless they're the ones making money).

ShatnersWig · 31/08/2018 08:03

Yes, if you've only seen the clip and don't know the set up, you are missing the context. It was a set up, the producers lied to KW why she was there, she was dumped into it, they played the Exorcist music, CN belittled the fact that KW was abused but otherwise lit the blue touchpaper and allowed the rest to goad her. As many of us have said on this thread and the other much longer thread, you don't have to like KW to see and understand this was bullying passed off as entertainment, from a show that likes to promote solidarity among women, and mental health issues. Yesterday's show was all about bullying and they treated it seriously and never even referenced what happened the day before. The behaviour of CN's "twitter team" and also the LW twitter feed was similarly disgraceful, which is why there were over 3300 complaints to Ofcom within 24 hours and they are still receiving them.

areyoubeingserviced · 31/08/2018 08:06

Coleen Nolan is consumed with misery and bitterness.I usually don’t comment on people’s marriage, but I can understand how difficult it would be to be married to her.
KW obviously has mental health issues and shouldn’t have gone on the show
However, I blame Loose Women for inviting Kim on the show

superfly2018 · 31/08/2018 08:42

Wasn't the other noleen sister he head if the panel? Should she be presenting and mediating any arguments? Like Kaye Adams and Ruth langsford do when they present?
I thought Linda robson was really two faced to put a hand on Kim's shoulder after joining in with the bullying. As everyone said classic playground school bitchy bullying. Although Kim Woodbury is clearly a very complex character with lots of issues. But the whole thing was unprofessional and itv shouldn't have allowed it to air and I thought Janet was a serious journalist, she totally
Lowered herself to be drawn into this. I'm embarrassed for them all

superfly2018 · 31/08/2018 08:43

Oh god typos galore Blush

superfly2018 · 31/08/2018 08:46

Oh was Colleen married to Shane Ritchie? I didn't know, she never mentions it 😂

myusernamewastakenbyme · 31/08/2018 09:17

Kim is a vile person....always angry and on the attack....no sympathy for her whatsoever....did i read somewhere that Aggie could not stand working with her any longer too?

puzzledlady · 31/08/2018 09:24

I don’t even know what is loose women (in my country loose women generally mean promiscuous 😂🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️) but it’s all over the news today!

sweethope · 31/08/2018 09:45

And i haven't seen the episode, only the clip, so I imagine I'm missing some context, but honestly what I saw is that vile woman Kim Woodburn screaming

And that is exactly the outcome CN was hoping for. A screaming KW in contrast to a smiling calm CN. Bullies often work the way Coleen did. She knew that Kim is explosive and thought all she had to do was push the right buttons and then let everyone see that the problem lies with Kim rather than herself, sitting there all calm and collected with a smug look on her face. She had her sister and her mates to support her, Kim had no one. That is classic bullying and those vile women just replicated what goes on in schools across the country every day. We need to recognise bullying in all its ugly forms.

Yes, some here in the UK, see the term as you do (myself included).
In their case I think (don't watch it) its loose with their tongues .

Everyoneiswingingit · 31/08/2018 12:56

Please remember that the clip is by ITV so shows you the bit they want. Watch whole show on catchup then decide.

Everyoneiswingingit · 31/08/2018 12:57

puzzled it foes mean that too so it's a play on terms really.

Everyoneiswingingit · 31/08/2018 12:58

It does not foes.

Everyoneiswingingit · 31/08/2018 12:59

And Linda Nolan is NOT a Loose Woman panellist, she is CN's sister and occasionally comes on as a guest. She was there as Coleen's bouncer.

ShatnersWig · 31/08/2018 13:17

And it's now clear CN must have lied. On the show Janet repeatedly said that Coleen had wanted this reconciliation. This tallies with what Kim said afterwards in her interview.

Coleen had several chances to correct this if it wasn't true. She didn't. Yet once the backlash happened, apparently it was the producers who wanted it and not her.

The producers issued a statement which read as follows: "Kim agreed to come onto the panel today at the invitation of the producers on the understanding it was for a reconciliation with Coleen".

I do not believe for one moment they would do that without consulting Coleen. Had Coleen said no, it wouldn't not have taken place. The fact that Coleen just happened to have Linda there on the same day is no co-incidence.

Set up, pure and simple.

areyoubeingserviced · 31/08/2018 13:27

Itv should never use Coleen as head panellists. She is not up to it.
They should stick to Kaye Adams, Ruth, Christine Lampard and the other lady whose name escapes me .

Everyoneiswingingit · 31/08/2018 14:21

Yes I know what you mean. When CN used to lead I never felt comfortable, always waiting for next mess up. She has no talent apart from playing a bit of a joker on the panel.

Everyoneiswingingit · 31/08/2018 14:21

Andrea Maclean? areyou

BlueEyedBengal · 31/08/2018 18:14

What is the big announcement that they said C D is doing on the show on Monday? Could it be an apology or maybe she's jumping before she's pushedHmm
