Leah Cambridge leaves behind three children, and a grieving family. All for a trashy-celebrity-style arse..

Why?

I thought exactly the same thing. She had a lovely figure as it was, there was absolutely no need for that surgery. Now three kids are left without their mum and for what? How will they feel growing up knowing why she died? The whole celebrity distorted body "trend" really disgusts me. We should be promoting women being happy in their own skin, not striving for unnatural body types.

I couldn't agree more...Leah Cambridge is far from the first person to die inspired by the vacuity of some trashy 'celebrity', either...

Absolutely awful. I wonder if this clinic told her just how risky this surgery is.

If a 29 year old woman was so influenced by the Kardashians et al that she went abroad for surgery to look like them, how must it be for young girls feeling inadequate and unattractive. This obsession with the extreme and fake look has a lot to answer for.

I was off work Tuesday and watched some QVC -- against my better judgement. Honestly, the utter crap they peddle on there is unbelievable.

You need this [overpriced, ineffective product, treatment or therapy], you need that. This [treatment] will give you the confidence to do this. and this one will you look younger.. Buy this and everyone will like you and you'll feel so much better [and younger obv's]....
All of these ridiculous claims of course are backed up by their in-house beauty / therapy "experts" who seem to love and believe in the magic of everything that's laid out before their eyes. ....

I know it might sound glib, but I think all this ties in with what happened to Leah Cambridge.

'You need this', and ''You're are not enough as you are'..It really is sickening

I was a teenager in the 80's and the "worst" lengths we went to were making our hair as big as possible! Maybe some extreme make up, lol. I would hate to be a teenager now with all the supposedly "ideal" images being blasted at them constantly. I think it's creating some very messed up people. We're just becoming more and more looks orientated and I think that's a massive step backwards, not forwards.

I agree and social media makes it worse IMO.. The messages are much more frequent today, relentless and immediate.

I must look like her, I want her arse, her tits, her nose, her fucking eye brows.

Then there's the imbecilic "celebrities" the reality tv nobodies, all posting their "look at me's"....
