I’m quite partial to a fish finger sandwich as long as they are high quality fish fingers.
I don’t think I’ve ever purchased chicken nuggets in my life.

I buy chicken dippers that are "mumsnet rated" but it doesn't say whether they were rated good or bad Wink

Yes, we've product tested things and then seen the logo on them a few weeks later. The DC like that, but then it means I have to buy them forever.

Raffles1981 · 28/08/2018 21:03

Bought a couple of things and only noticed afterward that they were "Mumsnet approved" I wouldn't buy a product just because of this fact.

BuntyII · 28/08/2018 21:16

If I were looking at two brands and one was mumsnet rated and the other wasn't, and the price difference was marginal then yes I would buy the mumsnet approved one. And yes I buy chicken nuggets and fish fingers, I know that children should eat quinoa and Mediterranean vegetables with roasted sea bass every night but it's a pain in the arse to clean quinoa and sea bass off the floor before then producing something they actually like so I sometimes just leave that step out.

I wouldn't have thought nuggets and fish fingers were MN approved

I saw today quorn nuggets are netmums approved! Removes quorn nuggets from shopping list

Piffpaffpoff · 29/08/2018 13:16

Yes but not because they are mumsnet approved. In fact, when I saw the sticker on chicken dippers for the first time I a) rolled my eyes and then b) looked at buying the own brand version.
