To need help with a sore bottom

itssosore · 26/08/2018 15:28

Please help me
My bottom has been getting progressively more stingy for the last few days.
Around my back part. It feels like a cut
I can't see anything on it.
I've had a bit of an odd tummy for around 2 weeks now. Do you think it's a bit acidic and burnt?
Should I go to the doc?

GrinGrin Sorry that you’re sore OP, not laughing at that, just tickled at the turn of phrase which means you’re now having to point out that you weren’t talking about anal sex!! Hope you feel better soon.

I started the pill 3 weeks ago
I've felt so nauseas with it :( think I've had a bit of a bug too. We have had two vomiting bugs in about 3 months

I stopped the pill for the break on Thursday but no bleed?
Had pink discharge today. I hope it will break through. Negative pregnancy test

The only other thing to say is I've had fluid in my pelvis for the last three ultrasounds I've had ( checking for cysts)
And the Doppler seemed to say it was clear.
Had a uti this month or maybe they siad a kidney stone and it was just blood in urine.
I am worried about this free floating fluid.
I'm a size six I'm very slim but I have been a bit bloated. To be honest most people say I am tiny and don't look bloated but I have been by my standard.
I had to have bloods a few weeks ago.
I didn't know it was a fasting one and I ate as normal in am (lots of fruit) and apparently bloods were normal. I didn't say I ate as I felt guilty. Should I tell them?

Is it definitely sited at your anus, or could it be the delicate skin between your butt cheeks? During the hot weather my bum crack used to get quite painful if I didn't regularly pat it dry with loo roll.

Agree with PPs to not use any scented products for now and wash with a pH neutral soap/cream.

If still painful on Tuesday I would get an appointment with the GP.

I really love Mumsnet thank you everyone for the smirks you've made me have and also the reassurance
My belly is bad today. I've had dioriah 5 times. Going to have a wash again and then do anusol x

Yes definitely. they will need to redo the tests.

itssosore · 26/08/2018 16:29

It's between the vagina and anus, from what I can feel but I can't see anything. I could ask my husband to look but I'll be sad to ask.
He knows my bottom is sore though.
We have sex most days but it's not rough

itssosore · 26/08/2018 16:31

If I ate fruit and dates and this didn't show in bloods I should check then?

I have had a few incidents of very low blood sugar and I have actually already eaten when this happened
When I was pregnant I had a mc Donald breakfast and blood sugar was 3 they were panicking

I feel like I've wasted their time and money. It's just that I was told it was for anaemia and then when they took bloods they said yes and glucose fasting I was like ok as I didn't want to ha e to wait another 2 weeks plus for a test because I was worried about anaemia

OP it could be an abscess. Is it right at your butt hole or just near it? Personally I would get it checked out, abscesses can turn very nasty and take a long time to heal if left.

itssosore · 26/08/2018 16:32

It feels like a sting and it's between my vagina and anus.
Not a bruised feeling and not on anus.
I think I could be burnt from dioriah

OP posts:
EleanorLavish · 26/08/2018 16:33

Sorry, cross posts. I would deffo get that looked at and avoid actual penetrative sex.

itssosore · 26/08/2018 16:37

Thank you for all of the tips everyone
I feel rough so will avoid sex anyway
Will also call gp Tuesday
Have gotten into bed now as i have had 5 bouts of dioriah
3 in last hour
All a bit much

If it's piles you need more fibre in your diet. Fybogel or psyllium husks.
If it doesn't clear up see gp

KissMeLikeYouMissMe · 26/08/2018 16:41

I find warm baths really good for this kind of thing. make sure the area is totally dry afterwards and then use some sudocream. I have inflammatory bowel disease so unfortunately things like this are a regular event for me. I've heard Epsom salts are very good too.

itssosore · 26/08/2018 16:43

Don't have piles. Had one vein sticking out before after I had constipation.
This is a graze cut or raw bit. It's shit.
I have had enough of the doctors
It's been months since I took medication
I had 5 or 6 surgeries in the last year and this is the 1 year anniversary well august 4th since I was resuscitated after having something go wrong at hospital. Needed a tri lipid infusion after a seizure for 90 mins.
Had a seizure as someone put local anaesthetic in my blood stream.
I also had a ruptured cyst in March and had a laparoscopy as they thought it was appendicitis. I've battled and over come dependency to various opiates and gabapentin
I don't need a cut bum as well with some more drugs

So low

There's a really nasty bug going around (guess how I know) Flowers

AstralTraveller · 26/08/2018 16:47

Anusol and any type of pile treatment is wrong for anal fissure. The idea of haemorrhoid treatments is to reduce the blood flow but actually if you have a fissure you need toincrease the blood flow to get it to heal. this is why a doctor will prescribe something like Diltiazem. It increases the blood flow and promotes healing. Trust me. Been there done that got the feckin beanie hat!

proudwoman92 · 26/08/2018 16:47

@UpstartCrow have you got a sore bum Grin

UpstartCrow · 26/08/2018 16:52

I bluddy well have Grin
I luffs you, anusol.

Figlessfig · 26/08/2018 17:04

You poor thing. It all sounds horrendous.

When you first described the pain it sounded like piles (haemorrhoids), but from your subsequent posts it sounds like something else ... fissure maybe, or something else.

When your GP surgery reopens phone and ask for an appointment. If you can’t get one for a while, ask for a telephone consultation (where a doctor calls you back the same day).

Hopefully it’s ok and will heal itself in time, but please don’t take any chances.

I’m including a link. Don’t panic about it, but do be assured the best thing to do is phone the GP as soon as you can. All the best Flowers
