Poll. How many t-shirts does your DH/DP own?

Just moved house and have decided to share a wardrobe instead of having one each to make more space in the bedroom.

DP complaining he doesn't have enough room
So I have just counted. FOURTY TWO T-SHIRT not to mention his monthly t-shirt subscription box so that's one more t-shirt every month. Plus 17 pairs of shorts.

There's just no need.

AIBU to ask how many t-shirts your SO has?!

As a PP said , mostly the same primark one in different colours. He tends to buy really ugly ones we both know he’ll never wear but thinks he’s cool some that he just leaves folded in a pile , so we might be heading towards the 30 mark now

also buys new ones when I don’t do his washing and he runs out

I have no idea...and even less desire to find out! We have separate walk-in wardrobes/dressing rooms so it's up to him (he also does all the ironing so it's a non-issue for me).

Don't think he has as many as me. I live in jeans and t-shirts

My dh is the opposite he has about 5 shirts. I had to nag him to buy some more otherwise if for some reason we get behind with the laundry he can run out of clean ones.

Not many as he has a uniform for work, and I accidentally dyed several pink a few months ago 😂 so probably like 4.

On the other hand, he has a gazillion band t shirts

Mine had over 50 so I put my foot down. We share a built in wardrobe and the split was looking near 70/30 in his favour. So some of them got retired to recycling bin.

However, he does own over 50 work shirts... Most of the bastard things are blue. My wardrobe is no longer my wardrobe, and I've given up putting his clothes away, as I end up creasing them more than pre iron. His filing system is the floor on his side of the bed....

Loads! And they’re all expensive brands 🙄.
He wears suits for work so it’s not like he needs loads. Shirts are another thing altogether he has one style in white x3, blue x2, navy x1 and army colour green x1. Then plenty more in other styles.

My.husband easliy has 40 or so. Most of them are slogan t-shirts and a few smart/casual ones thrown in

I love the odd quirky questions on MN.
My husband has about 30 double cuff shirts at home. Another 15 or so in his London office and half a dozen in his regional offices. So about 60-70 in total.
T shirts he uses for sleep about 6. Tshirts for running about 6. Casual shirts about 12. Casual tops/tshirts about 12..

Mine has about 30, but wears the same 4 vests on rotation every day...

6 that I can think off, neither of us have many clothes, we're extremely short of space

Enough to make it impossible to fit them all in the ikea hanging things for wardrobes. And too many shirts. And coats. It's ridiculous. I sneakily put some in the charity bags.

Wtf 😂 my husband has about 10! Why on earth does he need so many?!!

Urgh don’t get me started on the black t-shirt library!! I gently suggested to DH when we were moving that he might not need to keep all 70 billion t-shirts. He managed to part with one that was practically a string vest it had so many holes, but the rest have too much sentimental value apparently

Five million, yet moaned at me for pinching one to wear the other day, I've been avoiding maternity clothes other than for work if possible (don't want to waste money) but my t-shirts are too short now. I just raised an eyebrow and opened one of his many drawers full of the bloody things

Fucking millions, and he still nicks mine! He also has 20 pairs of shorts. He wears the same 5 tshirts and 2 pairs of shorts on repeat, the others are so unnecessary.
