Is this why the Halloween stuff is ALWAYS pretty much sold out when I go in October to buy some? Because people think it's nearly Halloween in August and buy it all up before we're anywhere near October?!

Halloween is a bloody nuisance when it happens. You don't have to bother us about it in August FFS.

National pumpkin shortage, because of the weather. Fights break out in supermarkets across the country over the few last remaining swedes and turnips.

Our local Costco has cleared out the summer stuff and is full of Halloween tat !

I can't wait until next week so the summer lovers stop saying 'it's not even the end of August! It's still summer!' Although Autumn deniers will still say its summer because of astronomical seasons.

I use the 'look outside' method. It's pishing and freezing. Summer is over.

Buntyll I am most definitely not a summer lover (particularly not the stinking hot one we've just had,I'm glad to see the back of it!) but I was just a bit at someone saying it's almost Halloween when we haven't even reached the end of August yet!
