1/ Another example of "What were they thinking?" The only noteworthy thing about this letter of support for Brett Kavanaugh from his Yale Law School classmates is that they could persuade only 23 of the 175+ class members to sign--and only three women.

2/ It won't (and probably shouldn't) have any impact on his nomination, but the message it sends is one he can't possibly welcome. It's a wonder the organizers didn't decide to just leave well enough alone once they (presumably) met with a great deal of resistance
3/ Another example of questionable practical judgment:
Who thought this would possibly help BK? Lukewarm letter signed by only half of AMK clerks, w/few Dems/liberalsjust confirms that BK'll likely conform to AMK's conservative votes, not the others (which everyone knows anyway, so it's not very harmful, but stillwhy bother?).
