Women have never been good enough to be the face of a brand. But in a brave and stunning move for equality , Pampers have picked Daley and Black as perfect brand ambassadors

Evening, everyone. Just popping by to make clear that we're happy to host a discussion on men being used as 'the face' of a nappy advert, but we will delete any posts that seem to be homophobic. Please do hit the report button on any posts you see that worry you in that respect. We are always happy to have a look. As long as the debate remains civil and inclusive, we'd like to keep the thread going.

We're just pleased to see some blokes merrily changing a nappy without anyone forcing a medal upon them for their trouble, really... Maybe Tom's got enough medals in his hall cabinet already?

For all you know, Rufus, I may have a strong record in Olympic diving myself! Perhaps, Tom and I have professional links...

Wink

Trust me, Rufus, there is not mind bleach enough in the world for a mental image of that Pike Dive.

Just to be clear, honestly there are no mysteries here. We deleted a few posts we felt strayed into homophobia, albeit hopefully unintentionally.

We wanted to leave the thread as a whole as we felt it was a valid debate and some really good points were made. We're just keen to make sure it doesn't become a thread about whether it's ok for gay men to be parents, because (a) obviously it is ok and (b) that's not what we thought the thread was about. We just want to keep things on track if possible.

Now. Where'd I put my noseclip...
