Rejected items returned to trolley and pushed back in the general direction. That's CF territory surely? (Witnessed by partner, not me).

I used to do reductions in Sainsbury's- there were people who hoovered ready to clear everything out, and fights regularly broke out. People do not behave well around reduced food Confused

Thanks weloveheyduggee, I thought there were unspoken but understood rules as in don't hog!

In our local Tesco's the grabbers fill their baskets when stuff has been partially reduced, then circle round the store until the staff member comes to do the final reductions . Then the cf's hand the items already in their basket to the staff member for final reduction. This obviously means that the cf's get first pick and manage to keep the items with them so that no -one else gets them.

Scabs!

I often think that the behaviour that you see in supermarkets around reduced food is the modern equivalent of primordial hunter gathering. All our deep rooted, competitive hunting instincts seem to come out!
