So wee guys sweats when he sleep and his poor armpit is getting sore. I've been putting bapathan on but it's not really helping much. But when it's healed could I put some roll on deorderant on or it's it a bad idea? 😂 he's 11 months

Aldi is selling cornstarch ‘talc’ at the moment.

You want to put deodorant on a baby's sore armpit? My God...

NutElla5x · 21/08/2018 11:37

It's a terrible idea! Do not put any harsh chemicals on sore patches,it will sting like hell! Take baby to doctor for advise and treatment.

JustMeHere1 · 21/08/2018 11:41

Only read a handful of replies but perhaps try putting him in a vest, it is supposed to soak up the sweat instead of leaving him lying and rubbing his skin in it.

NotSoThinLizzy · 21/08/2018 17:12

Do people actually read I obviously said when it's healed and have already explained but on ya go......not going to continue reading the thread anymore....

Thanks to those who actually had advice 😊

100% cotton bedding keeps you cooler. I'd check rash with Dr . Talcs been linked to cancer, huge payout to someone last week who took it to Court.

Notquiteagandt · 21/08/2018 17:36

YABU. Ouch.

Ok op so I know you're not reading but if I read correctly you say that the stuff you're putting on isn't really helping,so you're gonna have to take wee 'un to the docs, so while there you can ask him or her whether putting deodorant on a baby is a good idea or not.Simple!
