Im not a fan of him and Ruth comes across as false imo

I tuned in a few weeks ago and I think it was Michael Ball and Lisa Snowden. They do put some random pairings on
He was on radio two the other week, paired with Sara Cox. Yes, that’s right. Cox and Ball.

He lost me at the police criticism. The resulting #telleamonn was pretty amusing though.

You can tell R & E adore each other. It is their think to insult each other. She gives as good as she gets. P & H are irritatingly smug. They have more in jokes that R & E and they are not married.

A few years ago now but he interviewed a young man (late teens iirc) with a genetic condition which meant he remained the same height as a 5/6 year old.
The whole interview was about how hard he found it to be taken seriously and treated as an adult as people thought he was still a child.
At the end of the interview Eamon Holmes said 'Aww you've been through such a lot, come here and sit on my knee!' WTAF! I couldn't believe it, I Commented on their FB page at the time I was so astounded he'd done it.

@HolyMountain, can't say anything specific, just generally find her irritating. Maybe a little false and forced. I would actively avoid watching anything either of them are fronting.

Several people on TV annoy the fuck out of me, I just don’t watch.
And no, it’s not unreasonable to find someone irritating especially when they are projected into your lounge on a big screen

Love him and Ruth but can't stand Pip and Holly.

Eammon used to seem very irritable, which I put down to his dodgy hip. Now he seems more placid/ jokey but looks bored quite often. Holly: I don't buy the twee act. When she told a story about keeping a Chanel ring that Tara Palmer Tompkinson had on (Tara saw her looking at it & said oh have it), I just thought hmm, grabby.

Did anyone else hear Eammon make a joke about Ruth today on This Morning and Ruth immediately said "please don't complain about my husband being horrible to me, I find him funny"....I did wonder if she had been reading this thread.

He probably told her she had to say that!

The whole programme 'this morning' is a bit naff though. A woman who is having a baby with a ghost? Really.............

YANBU. I can't stand him. I think he is really irritating and full of himself. He is DEFINITELY punching above his weight with Ruth; she is gorgeous, he is not. I think that's why he puts her down and berates her (even though he is apparently 'joking.')

He definitely thinks he is more appealing/sexy/handsome than he is.

Reminds me of Professor Lockhart from the second Harry Potter film.

For the record, I am not hugely keen on Holly and Philip either. Their raucous laughing fits (usually about nothing!) really bore me.

Another one I can't stand is the dreadful twee Lorraine Kelly. Urgh! She is awful. And why is the half hour magazine show she presents called 'The Lorraine' show??? She is not on it half the year! She has all the school holidays off (and more!) even though her only child is in her 20's!

Christine Lampard has been presenting it for about 5 weeks (who I much prefer to Lorraine Kelly!)
