I feel bad about it now but I remember the time some of us confronted a friend about her noisy eating, she would chew for too long and make these slappy sorts of noises that made us gag.

My dad has no back teeth, he won't get false teeth so has to chew with his his front teeth.
When he eats a bowl of muesli I understand the meaning of the term "diminished responsibility"
He is otherwise a very fine example of a human being.
