CF or making most of opportunity?

Was a bridesmaid at a wedding yesterday and my friends (the bride) SIL pulled the photographer to one side. I assumed she was arranging a nice, special family photo.

Then I noticed her, the photographer and her daughter (brides niece) walking to a separate part of the hotel grounds.

They returned about 20/30 minuets later and I overheard her say to her DH (brides brother) that she'd got loads of lovely pictures of DD and asked the photographer to send them to her directly so she could give them as presents at Christmas.

Now, it was only half an hour or so, but I thought this was so bloody cheeky! If they give the bride a photo, she's going to have essentially paid for her own present!

So MN jury, CF or just seizing an opportunity??

Someone did this at my wedding assuming I’d pass the edited photos on.

I received them from the photographer.

They didn’t.

Hugely CF behaviour and the photographer was unprofessional and hugely inappropriate to allow it

Calculate how many photos he took of them and give them a percentage of his bill. You didn’t pay him to do this. Obviously if they wanted professional shots, they want to pay for them as well.
