So my FIL who is a bit of a spoilt child decided to cut a chunk out of my DS aged 11 hair with the dog clippers as a joke. DS understanding a bit upset by this. I'm feckin fuming but I know if I say anything it will cause a major row. He won't say sorry and has told DS to man up. Aibu to think this is a little unreasonable. DH defends his dad constantly even though he realises that he can be a bit of a prick.

Why would he think that was funny, it's just not. It's the sort of thing spiteful people do to someone they really hate (girl gangs at my school did this to rivals for boys affections). I hope you get him to see that OP.
